Solemn Soldier - Army Crusher

Neutrality Man

Notice: Having a DBZ image does NOT make this a Pop-Culture card. I simply can't find anything that fits the concept better than this shot of Trunks.

When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: if

your opponent controls an attack position monster(s), this

card can attack again in a row. Neither player takes battle

damage from battles involving this attacking card, except

this card's first battle of the turn.

I didn't want to use Trunks from DBZ, but couldn't find anything else that fit the concept. Feel free to submit replacement images.

The limit on this effect is how many attack position monsters this card can win against. It also can only hurt the player in one battle to avoid chaining battles to kill the player with repeated damage post-powerup. 1500 ATK to require it gets a boost for any real threats, as well as let it get over the elemental floaters. (Shining Angel, Mother Grizzly, Flying Kamakiri #1, Giant Rat, Mystic Tomato, and UFO Turtle).

Like stated before there isn't much to say. The real problem is that the card is actually pretty weak on its own. It does not have substantial attack power to warrant being able to slaughter a field. In addition to that it's inability to cause damage after the first battle is almost pointless. Its a floater killer, but the most common floaters now are the hands are the Yang Zing and the Hands. If you can kill a Yang Zing with these low attack points they would simply summon the one that has 2000 DEF. Second, Hands would either kill it or milk the fact that killing Hands does more harm than good mostly.

Next why run him who can only attack other attack position monsters instead of something like Asura Spirit who has 1700 ATK and can swing at everything on the field.
