I don't see Crustacean becoming a thing

First, the name makes no sense since the only DT monsters with Level 4 and 1700/900 stats are Ice Barrier Dance Princess and Gishki Mollusk, and both are far from being crustaceans. The closest one would be Mollusk, but still, mollusks and crustaceans are unrelated as far as I know.

 

Then, the FLIP effect is way too similar to Shadoll Hound's, and the other effect it is just too good to be real. I mean, considering they made Dragon a S/T remover, it looks like Konami is actively avoiding a monster-popper counterpart, and suddenly getting a Shadoll that would not only banish monsters, but also face-up S/Ts feel unrealistic.

Mollusk's Japanese name is "Shellfish", which is used to describe mollusks and crustaceans (to name a few). Sure, a mollusk=/=a crustacean, but... eh, I'm willing to bet it's just Artistic License in effect here.

That's a possibilty, but taking a look at mollusk it is barely armored so it would be wierd to take its body and shape it as a crustacean (I imagine a crab, lobster, etc.). Unless we get a new DT monster that resembles a crustacean (most likely a tellar, whose armors are based on animals or objects, just like Unuk and Sirius), I don't see this card becoming a thing.

 

Xathers did bring up a good point, though. But even then, there is the issue with its unrealistic effects (one is a worse Hound, the other is just too good).

But I rather like the idea of Shadoll competing with Abyss and Qliphort, at least somewhat better.

Another Doll that can get around Vanity's, Skill Drain, or even fucking boss monsters like lolBeelze.

I wouldn't mind seeing either be a thing, despite being more…lolpowercreepkonamiwhy
