VampireofDarkness
Tis the season to be haunting, so I came up with a bone chilling idea of not only making a new Fusion card, but making it benefit those DARK monsters. With generic DARK engines not being Tier 1 since at least Infernity Archfiend going down to 1 (If you even consider that deck using the generic DARK engine), I thought it would be fair game to let them have some fun, while also dealing a very interesting lock. If there are any abuses that need to be prevented, I can do such, but I don't see a lot of Fusions that would work with this card being instantly splashable. Hoping to work on some fusions that would require this card, but in the meantime, enjoy! Possession Fusion Normal Spell Card Fusion Summon 1 DARK Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand or either side of the field as Fusion Materials, including at least 1 DARK monster in your possession. As long as the Fusion Monster remains face-up on the field, negate the effects of the monsters used as Fusion Materials and cards that target those same monsters. newhat
Interesting restrictions. This would be unusable in Shaddolls because of how dependent they are on triggering and looping your Fusions Materials. Except in a mirror match, where you could stop an enemy Winda from recurring Shaddoll Fusion by stealing it for your own Winda. Since this is not a Quick-Play and can be countered, it loses out on some Poly+ utility. The best use I can think of is Escuridao off of Shadow Mist, but that's not worth the Deck space. Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight works but searching Girl is inconsistent and it depends on your opponent having a Dragon.

I was worried about Shaddolls plusing for days, but I also wanted some sort of effect for your opponent to be worried about if they get caught in the middle of it. DNA Surgery would help to maybe try FGD, but what actually a friend just brought up to me would be hilarious is Zombie World and Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon. Dragonecro isn't that broke and you can only control one at a time anyway, and he needed a reason to be played now that Super Poly is at 1. I suppose it fits the season, and again, you have the lock that Soul Drains and Necrovalleys the materials, so it gets the job done nicely. VampireofDarkness
Locking up your own Zombie is a huge drawback though. Just use a Zombie in your hand that doesn't help you at the moment. Dead Goblin Zombie or Zombie Master maybe?
