Darj
The Necloth of Hercules Attribute: WATER Type: Dragon/Effect Level: 10 ATK: 3200 DEF: 0You can Ritual Summon this card with any "Necloth" Ritual Spell Card. Must be Ritual Summoned by using monsters other than Level 10 monsters, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. During either player's turn: You can discard this card, then target 1 "Necloth" monster you control; it is unaffected by your opponent's card effects during the Battle Phase of this turn, also if it attacks or is attacked this turn, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects until the end of the Damage Step. You can pay 1000 Life Points; draw 1 card and if you do, reveal it, then, if it was a "Necloth" monster, you can Tribute it and destroy all other cards on the field. You can only use each effect of "The Necloth of Hercules" once per turn. To be honest I don't know if the card is fair. I just felt like making a Necloth of Hercules, arguably the source of the corruption of their predecessors the Gishki, as a symbol of Necloths conquering once and for all their ancient nemesis, and with him any traces of evil remaining within them. In a way, it is the physical representation of their renewal, redemption, etc. (kind of like "Gagagigo the Risen"). The hand-trap effect is more of a Star-Eater + Armades effect that allows an attack from a Necloth you control to go through without any interruptions. The field effect is a combination of Zielgigas + Hercules effects: a "draw 1 card" or potential nuke effect. To stick with the flavor of Necloths: - Considering that so far the hand-trap effects of all Level 7+ Necloths are protection and/or combat-oriented, I gave this card a similar effect. In addition, that hand-trap effect is meant to be a reference to the second effect of "Spell Wall", which apparently was the magic that Noelia used to defeat Zielgigas and protect the Gishki heir. - It is Dragon-type because it is meant to be worn by Exa, who wears the armors of Level 5 and its multiples.
