bloorocksDotD
They seem cool, if actual useable life-gain cards come out it might bring back some win condition decks which are always fun. Seems balanced and not too strong at all in my opinion. Love the idea and I would most definately use them.
Spinny
Needs more effects to summon things :/ so that pegasus isnt next to useless... Needs a level 6 synchro. Spectre is nice but without the level 6 option for synchro the consistency is a bit flawed. More tuners for consistency. Either a ROTA designed for them or a monster that searches on destruction or summon. Longer effects so the archetype becomes more interesting, especially with Wolf. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Good points this deck has is that it can abuse ancient leaf and other cards that drain your life points to activate pretty nice effects. Needs work, could probably do with making them float since they arent very strong.

They aren't broken or anything, just thought I'd post half of them and see what people thought of them. Needs more effects to summon things :/ so that pegasus isnt next to useless... As you can see, I have put in the title that I've posted 6/12 of the cards, so there are a lot of weaknesses that still need to be covered. I have made a level 6 synchro and I'll post it with the rest, since I agree it's necessary. I agree that more Special Summoning ability is needed too and I'm glad you've pointed it out. Your ideas will go into tweaking the cards I haven't posted yet to make the archetype feel more synergistic and powerful. As for the effects, they are mostly simple of course, but so many yugioh cards are over complicated now that I thought it'd be refreshing to make a straightforward archetype. Spinny
Ideas for cards i would have is one level 2 non-tuner with 500 or less attack so debris dragon is a tech choice. Effect could kinda go like Whenever you gain life points you can send 1 "Halcyon" card from your deck to the graveyard to special summon this card from your hand or graveyard. Its a good idea to think of possible tech choices they may be able to use and then make cards that would make them tech-able so that the archetype agrees with the rest of yugioh cards, i think its especially important to do this when you have a deck of simple-effect monsters. Daigusto Sphreez
Contemplating tech choices is important I agree, although there is no pre-existing support for Debris Dragon so I'm not sure I'd use that as the tech. Although making Lightsworn synchro with it would be pretty hilarious, if the monster with 500 or less atk was level 3 anyway. So far the deck would have Tenki and Ayers Rock Sunrise at their disposal, which is a pretty nice start. Plus access to Lightsworn Synchro, Ancient Sacred Wyvern, and light exclusive rank 4s. More synergy with pre-existing cards would be good though of course, I'll see if I can add another card that bares that in mind,
Daigusto Sphreez
Final additions: Reaver, Summoner, Hospital.
Spinny
Hostpitals first effect is broken in OCG terms atm since it makes you infinitely gain LP.... Reaver is missing the 1st eff the rest of the syncs have.
Daigusto Sphreez
Good point with Hospital. Fixed. Reaver doesn't have to follow the conventions of the others, I was actually considering making its effects cost LP, as the sort of 'boss' of the archetype, but I figured it would defeat the object of the deck. Daigusto Sphreez
Bump. Will return feedback on your cards where desired.
Elia41
A viable deck I would definitely use. Aside the fact some monsters' two Life Points-gaining effects are a little redundant, edging on game-breaking when combined, I find it fun that the regular monsters are LIGHT attributes while the bigger Synchros are DARK. Yep, I definitely need Halcyon Wolf or Halcyon Tiger ... And watch out, I've seen the picture of Halcyon Hospital somewhere else. I think it was the Lorwyn set of Magic: the Gathering ... The main reason for life point stacking is to abuse Star of the Halcyon, the Field Spell card. It's the easiest way to generate advantage in the deck and with terraforming its easy to get out. I think I'm allowed to use the images but you raise a good point as I forgot to credit where I got them from, I'll update the OP.
