Toffee.
If this card in your possession is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect) and sent to your Graveyard: Declare Dragon, Zombie, or Warrior. Then, declare LIGHT, EARTH, or FIRE. Then, declare either 1500ATK and 0DEF or 0ATK and 1500DEF. Then, Special Summon 1 Level 4 Surprise Monster Token with the same Type and Attribute as the ones you declared, and an ATK/DEF equal to the declared ATK/DEF. Then, if possible, you can Special Summon 1 "Multi-Monster Mimic" from your Deck. It's effectively a defensive Fire/Ice Hand, however... It can Summon a Token with varying stats. Why only Dragon/Zombie/Warrior? Because it's part of the concept to this card is that it draws from random monsters/etc that could pop out of chests/etc. Plus, giving a few options for customization without making it overcomplicated(IE, able to select any type/attribute) would still allow for a variety without it being rocket science as to what you would want, and still let it retain it's coolness. Slinky
these are all the treasure chest cards I can think of atm. Also, why Dragon? I don't usually intend to find a dragon when looking inside a chest, so is there is a particular reason they are included? That said, summoning a token then another copy of itself seems a little unappealing. Maybe because its a token, iunno. Tokens aren't really all that useful in general because of "Can't use them as Xyz Materials" crap and such. Maybe you could give the token an additional effect? Toffee.
these are all the treasure chest cards I can think of atm.You forgot Dark Mimics, but that's beside the point. Also, why Dragon? I don't usually intend to find a dragon when looking inside a chest, so is there is a particular reason they are included?Because including WATER/Aqua for a generic 'slime' just came off as being... Well... too generic. That said, summoning a token then another copy of itself seems a little unappealing. Maybe because its a token, iunno. Maybe you could give the token an additional effect? But if the Token destroys anything via some sort of effect, then it just comes off as being a slightly stronger Fire/Ice Hand; This card doesn't have any optional effects that can potentially miss, you know... Slinky
Who said anything about destroying? I was thinking if the token gets nuked, then you can SS one of those vanillas.
Darj
Well, it would be more amusing if you could pick any Attribute/Type so you could go for virtually anything, including wacky combinations, or attribute/types that work with the deck (e.g. a Wyrm for Baxia, a LIGHT for Michael) but you already dismissed that idea. At least you could make it EARTH for compatibility with Block Golem: since it searches itself, it can quickly set up in the grave and make Block live faster. I guess I COULD let the token be any Type/Attribute someone wanted.Although, here's an another idea....What if the Token in question could tribute itself and Summon Mimic back, and then Mimic's Type/Attribute becomes the same as the Token? Or would that be a bit much?

Yeah, that sounds like it would be too much and overcomplicated.
