CLG Klavier
@1. Heavy Storm is @1. It changes something, yeah. But it's still a SINGLE card. Drawing into 1 of 3 Sekka's > drawing into a single Heavy Storm.
goddamnit names are a pain
There are atleast 3 other decks that are terrifyingly powerful Skilldrain.dek Shocklaw.dek Shaddoll.....you sir don't know OCG What led you to that conclusion, based on anything I said? Ryusei the Morning Star
This is why "DNCG" or whatever its called is a s*** idea. You have no idea what the banlist will do before a set comes out and you could be wasting your time. Either play OCG or play TCG and stop crying over the other side having cards you don't....jeeez What led you to that conclusion, based on anything I said? "This format (I mean in the OCG, at least…f***, it will be this way in a few months when they hit america as well) is a race to OTK format, largely. This helps you OTK. " "Also, their ban lists are s***, which can alter the meta a lot." I would argue that OCG hasn't had a OTK format/deck since Offering went 2->0 in April....someone here stinks of bais September 2013: Rulers Verz (amazing format notably no Sixth Sense shit) February 2014: Rulers, Chronofacts, Geargiagadgets (shit) April 2014: Verz, Rulers, Shaddolls, Chronofacts, Heroes, Stellaseraphs (best OCG format) July 2014: Star Dolls, DDT, Qliphorts, Verz (lets maindeck 3 shockmaster and +5 off it) October 2014: Heroes, Shaddolls, Necloth, Qliphorts (redemption) Edit: You could make a case for Chronofacts cause they will eradicate any non meta deck win a turn or two back in Febuary, but I figure Necloth could any any real deck could

Ultravires
None of this is to anyone in particular except for the last bit. Backrow is treated completely differently in the OCG. This has a lot to do with the existence of Heavy at 1, but also with very specific match-ups, in particular backrow interaction or lack there-of in Qliphort games. This is a discussion for another time, and it was a more relevant discussion when trying to explain performance issues in Shaddoll/Qliphort/HERO format; it became less relevant in Necloth formats. On topic, Denko Sekka is awful when you're playing nothing but Necloth mirrors, that's why you don't see it in most OCG builds. Vanity's is typically the only backrow you should/need to play, unless you also play Trap Stun or real backrow. Not to be rude, but the vast majority of you have no idea what is played in the OCG, and even if you do, you probably don't know why it's played. I can think of four cards off the top of my head that see play in OCG sides right now that TCG players don't understand the reasoning for, even though the reasons for three of those cards are incredibly obvious. DN-TCG/OCG is a fake format, please stop being terrible and thinking it has anything to do with either the TCG or OCG. September 2013: Rulers Verz (amazing format notably no Sixth Sense s***) February 2014: Rulers, Chronofacts, Geargiagadgets (s***) April 2014: Verz, Rulers, Shaddolls, Chronofacts, Heroes, Stellaseraphs (best OCG format) July 2014: Star Dolls, DDT, Qliphorts, Verz (lets maindeck 3 shockmaster and +5 off it) October 2014: Heroes, Shaddolls, Necloth, Qliphorts (redemption) Let's be real, you're really reaching with some of these. Also, you can't really separate formats by list. The list is only one factor, set releases have happened midformat before. OOPArtifact regularly trounced Rulers. It then died to Shaddoll and Satellaseraph existing, and Rulers started doing well again due to Drago. Shaddoll, Satellaseraph and Rulers dominated their format, Verz and OOPArtifact barely saw play. Seraphdolls completely dominated every format after Rulers got hit. This continued even during the 10-day period after Shaddolls were hit until Tribe Force dropped, as small and inaccurate a sample size that may be. I have the numbers if you want to see them. Necloth are similarly dominating the current format, even against Masked HERO and Qliphort. which are both fairly awful for the deck to go second against. Verz seem quite relevent post ophion 2 2 and pre tribe force, I'm interested to see were you think they never saw play. I was under the impression rulers and Cfacts were about even when rulerz @2 but then again I wasn't playing much of either format till April cause of personal issues. Sorry. Seraph dolls are meaningless. Herodolls post wind shaddol is the nightmare we all fear. Sorry to ramble: basically: Agree on everything but verz Interested in Hero Dolls Would like more info on the two formats I missed (sept feb)

goddamnit names are a pain
If we're talking about their literal side decks, I've seen the lists. Many of them are self explanatory. Twister, Lancea, Mirror Force, Mind Crush... Kycoo and Tsukuyomi are cute side cards.

Ultravires
I wanna know. What are they? There are five actually, forgot the last one. Ain got three of them. Artifact Lancea and Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer are sided to stun Trish. Tsukuyomi and Book of Eclipse are sided to get over Releaser. The latter can also push Trish through Veiler. Finally, Diamond Dust is used to wipe fields and get over Releaser and Clausolus.

I also thought that Tsukoyomi could somewhat be used on Dark Law. Kycoo stuns Trish AND stops them from using the Mirror's second effects (and part of Exo's first). HERO isn't a huge part of the meta but yes Tsukuyomi and Eclipse work for that too. Kycoo also gets rid of Brio, Claus and Shrit as well as getting rid of potential Unicore targets. I mean Verz always drops out and returns like a week later 2 It's not really recent. OCG loves HERO but it still exhibits awful performance. After Strike came out it still never placed any better than third best deck of the format, and a very far off third at that. I'll address your earlier format points when I can get on a computer, supposed to be working right now.
