Egg-Laying Insects

[ Insect Infestation ( ENG ) ]

[ Spell / Continuous ]

Insect-type monsters you control in Attack position are always destroyed by battle, regardless of ATK.  Monsters your opponent controls are not destroyed by battle with Insect-type monsters you control.  When an Insect-type monster you control is destroyed:  Place 1 "Egg" counter on a monster your opponent controls.  Once per turn:  You can remove any amount of "Egg" counters on this card;  Special Summon, from your Deck or Graveyard, Insect-type monsters with 1500 or less ATK equal to the amount of "Egg" counters removed.  You can only activate this effect of "Egg Laying Insects" once per turn.  When this card is destroyed:  Special Summon 1 Insect-type monster from your Graveyard.

Looks like you got something wrong in the effect because it places counters on the oponent's monsters, but the next effect removes counters from the Spell Card.

Anyways, the card is silly, and I really don't get which is its purpose or goal. Yes, it can take advantage from the many insect floaters and can potentially swarm the field with insects rather quickly, but then? You cannot even attack safely with them. I suppose you could Synchro/Xyz with them, but relying on a load of 1500 or less ATK insects and a single Continuous Spell as your win condition seems like a risky strategy. Also after losing the insects as Synchro/Xyz fodder, it may be diffcult to destroy insects/generate counters and "restart" the engine.

In retrospect, it wouldn't be that bad, actually: Just main this and like 6~7 insects and just loop them from the grave once they are out of the deck. But still, it would take considerable deck space, and wouldn't be a reliable engine since it can be stopped by removing the Spell, and after using the insects as fodder it basically "shuts down".

The only Deck I can see this viable in is Inzektors.  I mean this thing ca search dragonfly, hornet, ladybug, and (if you are one of the few that run it) giga weevil.  3 of those 4 are key cards in most Inzektor decks.

However, I don't think this card is not worded correctly.  As is, if an Insect monster you control is attacked or attacks it is destroyed.  Not being able to kill your opponent's stuff is one thing, but you've basically destroyed your entire attack strategy.

Other than that, the others above me have made points that I no longer need to point out, but a possible fix is maybe to give this card some form of self removal.
