Ryusei the Morning Star
So we should get the list in under a month and there is really only one more variable that can change the list and that is synchro extreme. But this is basically how the OCG is shaking up atm Its looking suprisingly like the July Banlist scenario tbh Necloth and Qiphorts post SECE are the top two decks of the format (mirrors the situation with Heroes/Dolls/S-Knights in July) T1 1) Necloth being the new "cash" deck will not be hit. They'll likely get ROTA back to 2 2)Qliphorts-These f***ers were untouched in the October list so its their time to get Shaddolled. Assuming they won't hit any SECE cards 4 cards stand out as limit/ban targets. a) Skill Drain-This will almost certainly get hit. OCG will likely pull the "heavy=no trap ban" excuse to keep it limited. It 1) Hurts Necloth 2) Turns Qliphorts into an OTK Machines...pun intended 3) Got replaced with a themed version B) Summoner's Art-Indirect hit that mirrors the A-Knight limit, it would slow the deck down a fair bit. This is likely the best hit seeing Super Rejuv qliphort is also a normal monster. c) Tool-Going for the heart of the deck. OCG has shown ruthless anger in the case of limiting Winda/Construct. Limiting it would be damaging but no the end of the world seeing that cards like Qliphort Sacrifice and Rejuv exist 3) Heroes-The Old Guard of the Meta. Despite what people say I still feel this deck is incredibly strong in the OCG meta. The two dominating builds are the DDT build and the Hand/R4 Build of the deck. October landed a blow by limiting the Star Seraphs. Monk, DAD, and Soul Charge. There are a few things one can deal with Heroes: a) Ban Stratos: This is the worse possible idea to solve the problem. With Noden you effectively turn every R4 into a Strato with Mist, its a consistency hit sure, but not enough of one to remove the deck from power. B) Limit/Semi Shadow Mist: Now this is a far better hit seeing this is the BA of Heroes, and the way the game opens mask change. Limiting this would completely change the dynamic of the DDT deck for sure and likely R4 seeing you cannot simply throw the monster out knowing 2 more exist. c) Limit AHL: 1 Card Dark Law, the key player in DDT, 1 card shockmaster. The fact this can be a balls to the wall recovery card, this is personally my target for a hit d) Limit Dark Law: The best card in the deck, one sided macro. The atk stat is weak is the only redeeming quality for this card. However Avarice and Gusto do exist. This card COULD take a limit in addition to the above two to step on the OTK's where somebody will mask change a Dark Law to dodge cards like BTH and compuls or to deal 4800 damage. 4) Shaddolls- They got s*** on twice already. The October List limited Winda, Construct, and Games. a)The only reasonable hit however would be Mathmatician. Why? Lets see: Foolish Burial-Limited Armageddon Knight-Limited Dragon Shrine-Limited Ravine-Limited 5) Evilswarm a) Hell put Ophion back @3 T2 6) Infernity a) NO, f*** yourself 7) S-Knights a) ROTA->2 to counterbalance the Hero slaughter could help  Yang Zing a) Unban Goyo/Bulb/Brio RETRO: 9) Dragon Rulers: a) Its been 3 formats since Rulers were in any shape to be called "tier 2" B) Dragunity Spear of Destiny essentially says Ravine is stuck @1 c) They typically want a year+ before unbanning cards that were top deck hits (See WU carriar and Trishula) so Chibis @0 d) Already tried Rulers @2...bad e) REDMD getting a reprint out of the Blue f) Lot of legacy support to the Original Boss Vanillas BEWD, DMG, REBD g) Rejuv and Shrine cannot move above 1 due to Dragunity and Gold Sarc can't move due to S beasts 10) T.G. Striker may hit 3 11) Blackwings: Gale can finally f***ing hit 3 seeing it did rat's ass in October Synchros: So the OCG is pushing these bad boys really hard with the new Sync extreme deck that comes out right before the list. So they will likely try to help the deck out a bit in the next list. Recap. Trish@1 DSF@3 Goyo@0 Bulb@0 Brio@0. 1) Jet Sync says Bulb will stay banned a LONG time OCG side 2) Brio forms loops in Necloths and breaks Trish (who is here to stay) Experimental Cards: OCG has been giving a LOT of DM support recently. Reborn has been power creeped, Charge is limited. Yes I am thinking DMOC....guess what is getting reprinted in Yugi Pack. Random Ass Problems: fucking Blaze Fenix FTK with Noden. Noden is still "recent" and IF just got a reprint also Fenix is a piece of s*** So that being said. My list: Banned: Skill Drain (Qliphort Hit) Limited: From Forbidden: Goyo Guardian (Sync Support) Dark Magician of Chaos (Experimental) From Semi-Limited: None From Unlimited: Qliphort Scout/Tool (Qliphort Hit) Blaze Phenix, the Bombardment Bird (Random Ass FTK murder) Mathmatician (Shaddoll Hit, Tradition) Elemental Hero Shadow Mist (Hero hit) Semi-Limited: From Forbidden: None From Limited: Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon (Ruler/Dragunity/Hieratic support) Reinforcements of the Army (S-Knights Support, easing Hero Massacre, Necloth support) From Unlimited None Newly Unlimited From Forbidden: None From Limited: None From Semi-Limited: Destiny Hero Malicious (easing Hero Massacre) Blackwing Gale the Whirlwind (blackwing support) T.G. Striker (sync support) ANYWAY, that's my two cents. There are some other OCG people on this site and few TCGers who at the very least like to laugh at us so your thoughts are appreciated. I will update how the Meta changes on this thread in case C-Beast suddenly go tier 0 and need E bans

Ryusei the Morning Star
You forgot to ban #16. There is NO reason to hit 16 atm. Its a card that takes a lot of dedication to pull of and with all 3 colors being deadly as fuck atm and the engine that could cough multiples Shock out is dead. TCG really does make people soft.... Toffee.
TCG really does make people soft....Aside from the fact that's just DNF talking, TCG just doesn't like bullshit. Also, why hit Mist when you hit Hero Lives? Lives is like the only play that causes Mist to net you a Mask.

Also, why hit Mist when you hit Hero Lives? Lives is like the only play that causes Mist to net you a Mask. I would hardly call a monster that actually takes dedication and TBH nets you a neg and will likely be fucked no matter what color you call There are two builds atm DDT: This focuses on getting Mist's search effect to get cards like Dude and Stratos to maintain constant draw power and R4's and with Noden it doubles as a Stratos more often than not R4/Hand Heroes: Monk/Tin Gold Fist/Goblin all get t1 law out
Ryusei the Morning Star
If this is legit, which there is a MUCH better chance of being true than what was "leaked" before 1) the qliphort hits make me happy, but they should have f***ing banned Skill Drain-meh 2) Serpent and Red Murder to 2 will really help rulers out-good 3) T1 Law got a little harder, and DDT lost a lot of power -Good 4) Blackwing Meta-jk lolz 5) I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that WU will still not be relevent 6) Goat Control? Piper Control maybe? 7) Let the Synchro Hype continue
