I rather like the look of the card, and glad I got a good trade for it a while back.

I don't often use it, though. Tops, in a ZW Utopia deck. Sure, it has its edges. But at the same time, I'd rather CoTH into something else and get its effect and THEN lead into something else. Granted, you can't MST this, but still.

It also has the potential to dead draw, though that won't happen too often.

That reminds me that back when Sacreds were just released, I tested Xyz Reborn and attempted to abuse Star Chart by Special Summoning a Sacred Xyz during the opponent's turn and get a card draw. Needless to say, it didn't work that well.

And yeah, this card can shine in Sacreds and arguably Verz as well for reviving Ophion with an Xyz Material attached.

Endless Pleiades Works.

I sort of wish Re-Xyz got a print to use alongside with this so you can basically have 1 Xyz that never dies. Piss off your opponent by making Pleiades as annoying as Dark Knight.

I did want to say that I can appreciate this being searchable by Generation Force. That's pretty cool.

(Hence, ZW decks, when not searching change tactics).

I won at match at regionals a couple months back by Xyz Reborning an Ophion actually. Good times.

Good design, more rewarding than Call of the Haunted at the cost of flexibility.

 

It doesn't see play because every Deck is so fast it's more efficient to Summon another copy of the same Xyz.
