Random Pendulum Monster Idea

Slowspeed Pendulum Beast
Pendulum/ Level 7/ EARTH/ Beast
Scale 10

Pend Eff: You can only Pendulum Summon 1 monster per turn. This effect cannot be negated.

Monster Eff: When this card is Pendulum Summoned, and no other monsters are Pendulum Summoned: You can target 1 card on the field; destroy that target. During your opponent's End Phase, if this card was Pendulum Summoned: Return it to the hand.
ATK:2000 DEF:3000


Thoughts? I though a Scale 10 with no drawbacks would be a little OP, so I added on the 1 monster effect.

Thoughts? I though a Scale 10 with no drawbacks would be a little OP, so I added on the 1 monster effect.

Probably due a bit unfortunate wording, its monster effect is extremely devestating: Pendulum Summoning can destroy all cards your opponent controls (and your own, I guess). The requirement for activating it, is that it has been Pendulum Summoned this turn; not specifically the act of Pendulum Summoning it. As a result, you can keep targeting cards on the field to destroy (the requirement of being Pendulum Summoned this turn is still true). Also, due to returning to your hand during each End Phase, you can repeat this each turn.

 

Besides the described point, I don't see much trouble with this card. My suggestion to fix it is as follows: Make it so that its effect activates when it is Pendulum Summoned, or limit how often the effect can be activated each turn. Though I have a feeling that you actually intended the effect to be the first effect. Here a possibility to write its 'new' effect: "When this card is Pendulum Summoned, and no other monsters are Pendulum Summoned: You can target 1 card on the field; destroy that target.".

Yeah, thanks for fixing the effect. That would be quite overpowered.

 

...Interesting. It could have its own deck, but if it returns to your hand every End Phase... that's a bit steep.

Changed to return it to the hand at the End of the opponent's turn, similar to Blaster/ Redox/ etc.
