Hróðvitnir
2 or more level 5 monsters When this card is targeted for an attack, you may dettach one Xyz Material from this card; select one monster on the field (exept the attacking monster) and change the target of the attack to that monster. When this card has no Xyz materials attached to it, destroy it. Once per turn, you may attach one Level 4 or higer monster on your side of the field to Venom, if you do, you lose LP equal to half the attack of the monster attached. The idea of the effect is to represent the symbiont blocking the attack and redirecting it. And when it runs out of hosts, the card is destroyed. Hope you like it :)
The Seventh Samurai
question: can an attack be redirected back towards the attacker resulting in a suicide? or does the effect not work unless there are 2 monsters on the enemy field? Also, you might could add a way for him to acquire new hosts.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
I would assume Venom's effect works similarly to this card, if that's what the TC had intended. Sorry for small pic; if you recall, Wikia has a new image host that sucks like hell. As a whole, it has decent stats for a R5. A bit outclassed by Adreus/Tiras in some regards though, but this does different things and can be useful for getting rid of an opponent's problem monster. That being said, it does blow itself up once it runs out of materials, so as the above suggested, some way for Venom to regain materials might help it a bit. Then again, you could just overlay it for Gaia Charger or something on its last material, but it's a bit off track here. In real situations, most Decks that can afford to churn out Level 5s quickly could find a nice use for this card. Might find some competition against standard ones, but IMO probably will have its own niche somewhere in whatever you need its services in.
