Kingdom Xathers
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters When your opponent Special Summons a monster(s): You can banish 1 card from your hand and target 1 of those monsters, then roll a six-sided die; banish that monster for a number of your Standby Phases equal to that die result. This effect cannot be used while a monster is currently banished by this effect. When this card leaves the field: Add a number of your banished cards to your hand, up to the number of Synchro Material monsters used for the Synchro Summon of this card. Cirrus
I really like this card. Its first effect is very cute as a form of pseudo-removal that isn't great maybe a third of the time and is fine the rest of the time. The second effect allows for toolboxing from the banished zone in addition to just grabbing back the cost of the first effect, which makes this an extremely desirable Synchro to make in certain decks but still pretty okay to have around in others. Probably not one of those must-have level 8s but a good secondary option if you have the space for it or your deck can appreciate the toolbox effect. Solid design. Darj
ATK is fair for a generic Synchro8, and floating is cool. I don't think the banish discard is needed at all; it should be just fine without it. Also I'm assuming the banished monster would be brought back even if this Synchro is no longer on the field; it wouldn't hurt to add an PSCT clause on it to avoid any confusion. Perhaps add to the effect an (even if this card leaves the field.) clause or something like that.
asterr259
Pretty nice effect. I see combos are to be made with the hand-banishing effect and the last effect. The die effect is also pretty creative. I also like how you can use the effect again if the banished monster leaves for whatever reason before the standby phases are up. Morgan LeFlay
Konami generally has added the text 'You can only use the effect of "X" once per turn.' to counter effects like this which have, or could have in the future, OTK potential. The effect which I am referring to by this statement is "When this card leaves the field: Add a number of your banished cards to your hand, up to the number of Synchro Material monsters used for the Synchro Summon of this card." Let me give you an example on how this could be used in an OTK. Level 4 tuner + Banisher of the Radiance (or Banisher of the Light). Great, Synchro Summon, get some banished cards back (note the materials are sent to Grave). Now use De-Synchro, returning this to the Extra Deck and Summon your 2 materials. De-Synchro gets banished. Perform the Synchro Summon and use its effect to grab De-Synchro, as well as optionally another card as well. De-Synchro again. You can repeat this as many times as necessary to get your entire banished cards to hand, or to combo with another OTK which requires spell cards such as Royal Magical Library. So, please, add a 'You can only activate this effect of "Chrono-Surinox Dragon" once per turn' clause to balance the OTK potential. Edit: This is also just like the Primal Seed loop. You can continue using any Normal Spell, such as Ookazi or One Day of Peace while Banisher is out, and continue returning it to your hand.
Oriannis
I'm going to follow the trend and say that this is a very nice card. since the removal effect is not permanent and returns during your standby phase, your opponent can activate its effects during your turn (if it can, of course). I love the banish return effect. if you are lucky, you can use it to return a large number of banished cards to your deck. This may be just as much fun to use as necroface! :D

I mean, he could, but what Deck could get the required cards..... Consistently? The game is getting faster and faster, which means silly plays such as this are not quite as viable anymore. The Primal Seed loop is very much live in the game rn, but it isn't being used. Why? Because it is way too slow in this format to have the right cards, and it isn't as splashable as it was in Chaos format. Again, you could and it wouldn't matter, but the loop you speak of is not very probable As for the card on it's own, I love it! The banish mechanic has yet to be incorporated this well onto a Synchro, and having it be a 3k beater is fantastic! I could even see this being a decent boss in a Macro Deck if we ever get something like Chaos Distill. Dark Law might also be a cool combo with this, though I don't see Heroes making this anytime soon outside of MaskeDAD. Anyway, The cost is fair, maybe too costly, but the mechanic is has is very interesting, maybe were you inspired by Time Hammer? Regardless, I love it and it really promotes an interesting interaction, especially if you keep it on the field for several turns. I actually would laugh at seeing a 5 monster Pendulum Summon and seeing this card being used to banish the only monster that could get over this card. (*cough cough* Qlis with Disk *cough*) The recovery effect is nice too, again promoting the Macro Deck idea. Maybe a Dimensional Alchemist synchro with this, and get a card you banished with Alchemist? Overall, just a nice, nice card that would be very live in the game and open up a lot of opportunities, one I would love to see in this game
