-Griffin
The first Fiend-type support to make it into the YDF, Devil's Contract plays up the idea of Fiends having downsides, it searches any Fiend from your Deck and gives you a free extra Summon, but at the cost of activating at an awkward timing that usually gives your opponent a chance to clear it up. Devil's Contract Normal Trap Activate when your opponent Summons a monster. Normal Summon a Fiend-Type Monster from your Deck (This is an additional Normal Summon. Tributes are still required). When the Monster Summoned by this effect leaves the field, take damage equal to its original ATK. Would this be playable in the TCG? What Decks? Fun tech/engine anywhere? Althemia
I only really seeing this being used as a Stun card so that you're capable of summoning Vanity's Fiend out during your opponent's turn in terms of the TCG capabilities. I know a lot of people are probably going to initially think Burning Abyss, but a card like this doesn't particularly have a place there due to it being one of the slower cards that we'd have seen for quite a while. It being slow makes it a perfect pair to go with Vanity/Majesty's Fiend though, so everything's cool.I do quite like the card because I feel it can be an especially cute card, especially in conjunction with cards like The Monarchs Stormforth. My only real complaint is that I don't like how some decks can create a situation where the drawback doesn't exist. Due to Xyz Summoning not treating the materials it uses as being removed from the field, the drawback will whiff and as a result you will have just gotten it for free. Nasty stuff in conjunction with something like Tour Guide, for instance.
Darj
Works well with Caius for a +0 banishing effect, you could use it to search Scarm or other BAs and take 800~1600 damage (although Scarm would be dropped in its vulnerable ATK Position), or play it as an E-Tele engine along Tuners such as Dark Resonator who is backed up by an OPT protection vs. battle destruction. Looks like a fun card but not exactly abusable in TCG in my opinion.

Then again, Mega Caius has yet to find its place yet. As for the card itself, it's an upgrade of Hidden Soldiers, and what an interesting upgrade. I find it to me to be an amazing card in Tribute Stun (Where all of the monsters you run are Tribute Summonable Fiends that are floodgates essentially), and works really well with the Monarchs Storm Forth and MAYBE the Wicked Avatar since it has ? ATK so you take no damage, but aside from that isn't that great. The cost is a bit much, (Unless of course you Xyz with it in which case the drawback is gone) but again, you have some options and is staple in Tribute Stun, which with Grudge of the Monarchs in the next set will be fairly relevant. Personally, I side 2 or 3 in my Monarch build where I side Majesty and Vanity's Fiend and The End of Anubis, all which would be droppable through this card along with the Caius forms. I dig it.
