ShiosaiIke
Mecha-Eyes Tech Dragon: Earth, Level 7, Synchro 1 "Upgrade Tech" Tuner + 1 or more "Tech" Non-Tuner monsters Once per turn: You can Tribute 1 Level 4 or lower "Tech" monster you control; This card gains ATK and DEF equal to the original ATK and DEF of the Tributed monster respectively, also this card can make a second attack during each Battle Phase this turn. During your opponents Battle Phase, if this card is destroyed: Inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. 3000 ATK / 2700 DEF Overclocked Mecha-Eyes Tech Dragon: Earth, Level 10, Synchro 1 "Upgrade Tech" Tuner + "Mecha-Eyes Tech Dragon" Can only be Synchro Summoned, and cannot be Special Summoned by other means. You cannot Summon any monster while this card is face-up on the field (But you can Set). When this card destroys an opponents monster by battle; place 1 Charge Counter on this card. You can remove 1 Charge Counter from this card; Destroy 1 card your opponent controls. You can remove 2 Charge Counters from this card; send the top 5 cards of your opponents deck to the Graveyard. You can remove 5 Charge Counters from this card; halve your opponents life points. If this card leaves the field; Special Summon 1 "Mecha-Eyes Tech Dragon" from your Extra Deck, Graveyard or Banished zone. 5000 ATK / 4000 DEF The main archetype for these cards, the "Tech" monsters, can be found here. The reason these cards are so strong is because the requirements are so hard to fulfil: To summon out Mecha-Eyes Tech dragon, the summoner must get out either one of the Level 4 Tech monsters and one of the two Level 3 Tech synchros, two of the three different Level 3 Techs and "Upgrade Tech - Codemaster", or one of the Level 6 Tech monsters and the same Tuner out. The only way to get Overclocked Mecha-Eyes out, is to summon the base Mecha-Eyes out first, then get either "Upgrade Tech - Dragon Drive" or "Upgrade Tech - Draco Skeleton" onto the field; Codemaster cannot be used, as it will not fulfil the level requirement. After a fair amount of testing, I can assure you these cards are not easy to get out at all. Still, any comments or feedback on how to improve or balance them out better? Marco Polo
I think it's alright, feels kinda winmoar, but then again, might never exhaust it's potential. Its reliance on destroying monsters by battle is alright, for that to happen twice or more is kinda unlikely, considering the current meta. Feels to me as if when you summon this thing and just fall to a mirror force - you'll be furious. But that's okay I guess since I've seen the field spell and the SS from deck continuous spell so I guess rebuilding advantage is something this archetype does well. will probably never get to 5 counters as is, and if it already gets to 5 - I think you should have probably won the duel by now, right? but it's nice to have. Mecha-Eyes is completely fine, again relying on ATK but that's no bad thing - just a little sub-optimal.
