2 Level 4 Tuner monsters

This card is also treated as a Level 4 monster. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Tuner monster from your Graveyard.

 

The idea is interesting, but note that Xyz Monsters generally do not treat themselves as a monster with Levels; only time this ever happens is in the anime/manga.

Out of fairness, most Decks don't utilize Level 4 Tuners to begin with; except for a couple of Yusei's Synchron monsters and stuff.

 

To be honest, said materials would be better off just making high Level Synchros to begin with (the normal way); or in another scenario, used for Xyz that actually do more useful things.

 

1300/1200 for a Rank 4 is pretty depressing though; considering that nearly any relevant monster will run this thing over.

 

 

It's not necessarily bad, but just that it's extremely gimmicky and does screw with a game mechanic to an extent.

I agree with Sakura. It's very gimmicky. This is something that I'd like to see an archetype based off of, though. It's a nice idea. Just be careful, as people can actually use this Xyz Monster for the Xyz Summon of another Xyz Monster. You could end up with a pumped up Dante/Zenmaines/Leviair/even Leviathan Dragon can get really good with this.
