Slinky
You cannot Special Summon monsters, except Machine-Typemonsters. Once per turn: You can declare a Level from 5 to 9; all Level 5 or higher Machine-Type monsters you currently control become the declared Level. If a Machine-Type Xyz Monster(s) you control would be destroyed, you can send this face-up card to the Graveyard instead. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can add 1 "Rank-Up-Magic Argent Chaos Force" from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. It literally just hit me that we should be getting this card in April. And I adore it so. Discuss?
goddamnit names are a pain
I like the idea of making a Solidarity deck based around this and Solidarity, but I never got around to it. Makes me want marshmallows though.
heraldry_lord
From what I can see in the artwork, Tron's crest is in the middle, IV's crest is at the forefront, and III's and V's crests are in the background; whose crests are those to the left and right? evilfusion
Apparently, those crests also appear on Heraldry Augmentation coming from No.18 towards Tron's crest. Augmentation refers to expanding a coat of arms, and No.18 is Progenitor (ancestral origin) Plain Coat. A plain coat of arms has no markings. So whatever No.18's crest markings used to be got augmented into the Tron family's coat of arms. Argent Chaos Force also has the Tron family crests on it and manages to Summon Chaos Numbers/CXyz. Numbers are Astral World in origin. Chaos is the Barian's power. Considering the Tron family originally worked indirectly for the Barians and later fought against the Barians, perhaps the other two crests in some way indicate the Astral World and Barian World. But I'm probably just randomly theorizing. Card is very nice, and mostly helps Gimmick Puppets and such. The problem with it is it only boosts Level 5+ machines, so you're already using some sort of spam engine that either modifies their Levels at least partially, or you're running a bunch of different Machines, like Machina Fortress, Starcruiser IX, or Gimmick Puppets, or something weirder. It's great for doing different plays, like dropping Draco-SAC in Gimmick Puppets or making Dyson Sphere playable, and the searching/recycling of Argent Chaos Force is amazing, considering that it can also send itself to protect one of your monsters. newhat
You can declare a Level from 5 to 9; all Level 5 or higher Machine-Type This is the problem with this card. A consistent engine for Level 5+ machines has a ton of potential; making a high-Rank toolbox with only Machine Materials, for only Machine Xyzes, is too top-heavy. The only deck that really benefits from this card in theory is Gimmick Puppets, but it's not very good for them in practice. My favourite aspect of the card is actually the flavour and conceptual background.
evilfusion
The best advantage I can think of for Gimmick Puppets is the recycling of Argent Force, and the ability to prevent a destruction of one of the Xyz. But yeah...it's a bit unwieldy.
Trebuchet MS
Could we take a moment to think about how this interacts with Cyber Dragons?
newhat
Could we take a moment to think about how this interacts with Cyber Dragons? It turns CyDra and Drei into any Rank 5-8 Machine and has minor defensive utility, but it prevents you from making other utility Xyzes, and the best target (Dracossack) is redundant. It allows 5-9. Meaning Enterblathnir. That said, Cyber Dragons suck, and its best use is being silly with trains, and I don't think it's staple there at all. Can't Trains do 10? Seems like 9 would be a step down.

Trains also run Chaos Dyson Sphere in general, so going rank 9 with argent in the deck isn't all that bad. since you can rank-up into a super cowboy (like blasting for 3-4k in one turn for just being on the field is pretty insane)

This is unrelated, but I wish we had more (and better) non-Machine Rank 10s. I like variety in my YGO.
