HomoSapientissimus
Monster Cycle Spell/Quick-Play Target 1 monster on the field; destroy that target, and if you do, Special Summon 1 monster from either player's Graveyard with a different name to the targeted monster. Maeriberii Haan
Yeah no. Generic quickplay costless removal that is also a Monster Reborn is broken. moved to joke and overpowered cards.
HomoSapientissimus
Removal is crap right now with the current meta, and Monster Reborn isn't that broken considering most of the cards you'd want to bring back would be Extra Deck cards that would be useless without Xyz Materials. Trebuchet MS
You might not be able to bring back Xyz Monsters, but you can still bring out other things that can, in turn, facilitate Xyz/Synchro Summons with their effects. Change it to a Normal Spell, and it'll still be a direct upgrade to Monster Reborn as it has removal stapled on top. Perhaps the thing that irked me was the fact that regardless of whose monster you destroyed, the monster that's being Special Summoned is under your control. That's not exactly what I was expecting when I read "Monster Cycle". Perhaps make it so that if you destroy an opponent's monster, the replacement shows up on the opponent's side of the field. You know, so the player's actually cycling through the monsters.
