Slinky
During damage calculation, if you would take battle damage: Reduce that damage to 0, then Special Summon this card as a Monster Card(Machine-Type/DARK/Level 8/ATK ?/DEF 0). (This card is also still treated as a Trap Card.) This card's ATK is equal to the amount of damage reduced to 0 by this effect. It will forever outclass Gorz. iCherries
This thing is an absolutely hilarious Gorz and I hope it's either untouched or buffed sky high.
evilfusion
I always wondered why they never released this. However, I suspect that a real-life version will say you need to take Battle Damage involving a monster you control, as both times IV used this when one of his Gimmick Puppets were killed in battle. It could also get nerfed even more, by requiring a Gimmick Puppet to be attacked, or if the damage would exceed your LP. I hope it doesn't, but I could see it happening. newhat
It's not a straight upgrade to Gorz; it's only 1 monster, with non-guaranteed ATK, and it's not DARK except on the field. Still, it's splashable and very good for Gimmick Puppets, and it can protect you from lethal damage.
Toffee.
I'm relatively glad we are getting this. It will forever outclass Gorz. But Gorzey is happily married and that loving couple come gliding across the field when you play him <3*ahem*This is a rather weird time to release this card, TBH.As for the IRL version, I wouldn't doubt it if they either dropped the 'you take no damage' part, or they changed it to only work on direct attacks.Either way, I still love how we are finally getting this thing.Oh, and while I'm at it, I still absolutely fucking love the face of this card:
玄魔の王
Personally, I'd rather see if made into a regular Trap Monster with fixed stats and maybe a condition or 2. Bonus points for the name lampshading how gimmicky it is though.

I'll take usefulness over flavour in this case.

Azuh
Should have been released years ago. But I'm glad Konami hasn't forgotten about this
