BatMed
**Effect** You can discard this card to add 1 "Fusion Gate" from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. Once per turn, you can target 1 monster in your Graveyard; banish that target, then, until the End Phase, this card’s name becomes that monster’s name. Trebuchet MS
You can discard this card; to add 1 "Fusion Gate" from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. Once per turn: You can target 1 monster in your Graveyard; banish that target, then, until the end Phase of the turn, this card’s name becomes that monster’s name. This is akin to the FOTB field-searchers, though unlike them where they can stand as a 2100 ATK monster if their respective Field is present, this card has a slight functional synergy with Fusion Gate in copying names for the sake of making Fusing easier if your material is dead or dumped. This also means an extra 3 copies of Phantom of Darkness for those trying to pull the Armityle stunt. Name-based Fusions have become somewhat last-season. Lots of commonly spammed Fusions nowadays have flexible Material to make them more accessible. The biggest Fusion-using Decks, Shaddoll and HEROes, don't even need Fusion Gate. This, I feel, holds back the impact this card will have. Still pretty decent, though.
Peridank
I read cyborg and fusion gate support... and immediately thought you were making Fusion Gate usable in Cybers. Either way... this can help with old school Fusion Gate Hero Builds Nicely... I like it... not a big impact current format but very nice indeed.
