Slinky
If this card is Summoned: Return all "Number" Xyz Monsters on thefield to the Extra Deck. Neither player can Special Summon "Number" Xyz Monsters, also this card cannot be destroyed by battle with Xyz Monsters, and is unaffected by their effects. Severely disappointed Konami. You missed the perfect opportunity for Kaitoman.
JessicaMuddy
This thing really should just be called "Number Hunter". The Number Monsters' Numbers aren't Numerals, so why is this guy the "Numeral Hunter". Also, awesome Kaito-related art. It even sorta has Orbital 7's wings on the back. It is not "Number Hunter" because that would make it a Number, which it is not. (Seriously, doesn't anyone make a habit of looking at JP text when dealing with archetypes?) Premier Alexander Romanov
How about "Numbers Hunter"? Would that work? Nope. Still has "Number" in it, in the same way that all "XX-Sabers" are "X-Sabers". Welcome to the wonderful world of archetypes.
evilfusion
Remember, the Japanese labeled Numbers as "No." So they could use Number Hunter as a name, because it wasn't "No." But English used "Number", and since Hunter is not a "No.", it's not a Number. Numeral isn't that bad. When this card got translated on reveal, the translators added a clause "this is never treated as a Number". (And DN called it "No. Hunter", since they use TCG names when possible, there wasn't any confusion about it being a Number) Simply not calling it a "Number" in TCG means they don't need such a clause. They could have called it Kaitoman, but that would just mean the TCG would call it "Kiteman", which would just tick me off. But as far as this card's merits go...ehh...1600 ATK isn't terrible, but it doesn't DO anything. It's immune to all Xyz monster effects and can't be killed by them in battle, which is nice, but with those stats, it'll probably die by something else, and be little more than a minor inconvenience. Unless you spam Numbers or something, in which case, this card is hilarious, but still not consistently useful.
玄魔の王
In my own headcanon Kaito went loopy when he came back from the dead and started dressing like this because he thought he was Batman or something. The card's art is nice, but the effect is disappointing in the post-Xyz Era. Also, for the interested, there is a Kaitoman fanart floating around that originated on Pixiv.
