Peridank Posted February 5, 2015 Report Share Posted February 5, 2015 So this is my fav fairy tale. And story nonetheless. I built a archetype featured around some chars and decided I liked it. I worked hard to make this Archetype good... and I think I did well... though the Field is a bit OP... but it's what makes the deck so good. [Spoiler=Monsters] During the turn this card was Normal Summoned; you can Normal Summon 1 "Wndr" monster from your hand in addition to your Normal Summon/Set. Once per turn; you can add 1 "Wndr" card, except "Wndr Prize - Alice", to your hand from your Deck. This card is the main engine for the Deck-Suitable for the main character. She is the only LIGHT monster in the Archetype. She can also lead to many plays. Cannot be Special Summoned. During the End Phase of the turn this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up: Return it to the hand. You can tribute 1 "Wndr Prize - Alice": Banish 1 face-up card your opponent controls. I based this eff of how tricky the Cheshire Cat can be in different interpretations... a Spirit for the fact of him Appearing and Disappearing. He is mainly used to disrupt your opp... and perhaps get rid of that nasty beelze. ;) The effects of "Wndr" cards cannot be negated. This is to avoid disruption... because he doesn't have as powerful of a eff... he can be used for his decent stats. Cannot be Special Summoned. Once per turn; you can discard any number of "Wndr" cards in your hand: Draw the same number of cards. During the End Phase of the turn you activate this effect: Your opponent gains 500 LP x the number of cards you discarded by this card's effect. For those not familiar with this rabbit... he is the Mad Hatters "Tea Buddy". He was made to give the Deck some speed... I think his effect needs to be tweaked.... help? You can tribute this card: Add 1 "Wndr Prize - Alice" from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. Just like in every story... he fetches alice... which is really useful knowing she is the main engine for the deck. Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned by it's own effect. While you control "Wndr Land" and 2 or more "Wndr" monsters; you can return 2 "Wndr" monsters you control to the hand: Special Summon this card (from your hand). If this card destroys a monster by battle: You gain 1000 LP. Ya... Queen is really just a 3000 beatstick that you can put on the field pretty easy. She also helps with gaining LP. She is the Boss monster in the deck and can be used for a rank 8 nicely. [/Spoiler] [Spoiler=Spells] When any numver of face-up "Wndr" card(s) you control would be destroyed; you can pay 800 LP: Keep them on the field. The main field spell that pulls the deck together... it even protects it self... wow. But it only work with destruction... so you know... D Prison... Pay 800 LP: Add 1 "Wndr Servant - White Rabbit" to your hand from your Deck. A search that searches a search... ik ik... but this fits with the flavor... helps thin the deck... and is just a helpful card in the long run. (even if its a bit slow) [/Spoiler] [Spoiler=Traps] For every "Wndr" monster you control you gain 800 LP. This is just a quick LP recover... which can be very strong seeing how monsters stay on the field so easy. Special Summon 1 "Wndr" monster from your hand or Deck. Cosmo. Posted February 6, 2015 Report Share Posted February 6, 2015 Since Alice in Wonderland is one of my fav fairytales too, you instantly get some extra points. Some of the cards seem really Op, like Alice, she can search once per turn (even though Ghostrick Jiangshi exists, he's broken) and that's strong. For the rest they seem good, maybe a bit underpowered, i think you just put all the power into Alice, which is gonna be hard to search. Alice was meant like that and is actually searchable by the rabbit but that IS a bit slow. But I think if it was too fast then it would be a bit op. It in all honesty its not that hard to set up... And can lead to some good plays. The only extra you might want is some staple rank 4 using mystic tomato and rank 7 in case for Queen... Thanx again... Alice is greatly broken but she is the main card... and the Field makes the deck able to stand in meta cuz... unlike most cards... it does care about being destroyed... and makes that obvious. I cant really think of any cards that i can make for Xyz or Synchs... I think if anything I would make a Fusion. Materials being 2 maybe 3 Wndr monsters. Suggestions would be nice.
