A little help with a continous effect

TenkaiSp

Question

Hi everyone! I have a monster effect that states:

"You can Special Summon this card (from your Hand or Graveyard) by Tributing "X" equipped to a monster you control. If Summoned this way, all monsters you control gain ATK equal to this card's current ATK."

What I have in mind, is that when this card is summoned by its effect all other monsters your control gain ATK equal to its ATK. And that this effect applies as long as this cards is face-up on the field, which means if I increase its ATK, then all other monsters will have their ATK increased by the same amount as well.

But for some reason it fells like this ATK gain effect will not be applied continously, but only when this card is Special Summoned. Do I need to add something like "while this card is face-up on the field" or use a colon instead?

You can Special Summon this card (from your hand or Graveyard) by tributing "X" equipped to a monster you control. If this card was Special Summoned this way, all monsters you control gain ATK equal to this card's current ATK. You must control this face-up card to resolve this effect.

The rules of PSCT are somewhat vague when describing this, but generally speaking, it already implies that you have this card face-up on the field.

In the latter case, it would be worded "If this card was Special Summoned this way, all monsters you currently control..."

Thanks a lot ^^

Oh, and of course this card needs to give ATK to all monsters except itself, otherwise some kind of the infinite loop is created, I guess.

Is it enough with:

If this card was Special Summoned this way, all other monsters you control gain ATK equal to this card's current ATK.

?
