Mad Hat Magician
My second attempt at an XYZ Card (The other was Ezrakai, but that is now a fusion card), Automaton Kaiser. I was trying to go for a feel of a very powerful ruler who relies on his mechanical subjects to protect him. I originally planned to give him an ability in which he could turn other machine types into XYZ material, but ultimately decided against it as I feared it would be too overpowered, but enough with the banter. I present you with Automaton Kaiser! Three Level 7 Machine-types You may detach 1 XYZ Material to do one of the following effects: * Summon one Machine-type card of level 5 or lower from your hand or graveyard to the field. * This card's DEF raises by half of the XYZ material's DEF. If this card has no XYZ Material, it's ATK And DEF are halfed.
Tinkerer
Should the card be rank 7, or did you mean for the materials to be lvl 6? Anyway, I feel the first effect might be too powerful without some kind of drawback. Maybe stop the SS'd monster from attacking or allowing you to only SS machine-types for the rest of the turn. In any case, what makes this card really potent is that it can use its ability multiple times in one turn. The only real drawback is the fact that it takes 3 lvl 7 machines to summon, preventing it from being summoned easily. However, if one were to be able to get it out, it provides so much advantage... Oops, I think I meant to make it level Seven. I guess I wasn't paying attention there. Thank you for the critique, I may tone down the first ability, or perhaps the cost to XYZ summon it.
