Target 1 face-up Xyz Monster you control; Special Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 "Number C" or "CXyz" monster with the same Type as that monster you control but 1 Rank higher, by using it as the Xyz Material. (This Special Summon is treated as an Xyz Summon. Xyz Materials attached to it also become Xyz Materials on the Summoned monster.) If it was not sent to the graveyard this turn, you can banish this card from your graveyard then discard 1 card to target 1 face-up xyz monster you control; apply this card's effect to that target as if you'd activated it.

Alternate lore:

I thought I'd be inventive with ocg to make the text shorter

Ok....so its a 2 stage Astral Force.....interesting....however, it sadly doesn't really work.  If you apply the same effect again, then you would be ranking a Number C into another Number C with the same type.  None that I know of that can be used conventionally exist.  Somehow the 2nd effect has to have different conditions than the first.

The intent was to rank-up 1 monster, then rank-up another different monster later with the gy effect. Or send this to the gy without activating it to be used later.

Ahhhh I see.  That makes much more sense.  I missed the "Different Target" part.  Nonetheless it's a great card.
