Once per turn: you can discard 1 monster; until the End Phase, this monster's type is also treated as that monster's type in addition to its other type(s). Also you can increase this cards' rank by 1 or 2 until the End Phase. If this card has an xyz material that was originally either a Spellcaster-Type monster, spell card, or trap card: you can special summon 1 xyz monster from your extra deck with at least 1 type and attribute in common with this card but 1 rank higher, by using this card as an xyz material. (Xyz materials on this card also become xyz materials on that monster.)

 

Ruling: The "types" in the first effect are monster types, eg Warrior or Spellcaster

 

I want to balance check this before I make a deck based on it.
