[Field Spell]

This card is treated as "Toon World" while face-up on the field. During either player's turn: You can target 1 Toon Monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it, then send this card to the Graveyard. Toon Monsters can declare an attack the turn they are Summoned, cannot attack directly that turn. Once per turn: You can add 1 Toon Monster from your Deck to your hand (you can only activate this effect of "Toon Portal" once per turn).

So I've been looking at how much Toons have been getting outdated. Looking at how most are semi-nomi monsters that require Tributes, have a self-destruct clause and depend on an effect-less Spell to play, and do pretty much nothing at all...

That said I decided to help them out with this card. It is searchable by the usual Toon Table of Contents but you can also save those and use Terra Forming instead. I mean, maybe it's just me but I liked my Toon Tables to each directly search what I needed. Deck thinning is important but every copy you leave in the deck is a future potential draw that might give you choices rather than just burning through all 3 on turn 1 and top-decking the archetype the rest of the game.... In my humble opinion that is.

Anyways, getting on a tangent here.

*clears throat*

Good points:

-Escapes destruction and revives something before going away.

-Searches the Toon you need every turn, and is a blatant +1

-Gets rid of Summon sickness that most Toons have (this should help the ones that actually do something and can't Special Summon themselves like Gemini Elf).... at least for battling other monsters.

Or course this doesn't fix every issue I have with Toons, like how most are just pieces to form bigger bosses or are typically just beaters, but just having a Spell do something and not cost 1000 LP is already an improvement anyways xD
What are your thoughts about the concept people?
