Catman25
I don't look at many deck profiles so idk what people are siding against Nekroz. Is this seeing any play? Mistake/Shared Ride are a thing, but the non-searching effects can be stopped too.
玄魔の王
Dark King of the Abyss needs to get his upgraded form already. This and Mistake do a lot of the same things against Nekroz. Mistake hits the Thousand Handers as well, and can be chained, but this is less likely to stop you up and also messes up Valk, Decisive Armor etc. It's not the best against Nekroz, but it will do the job. Expelsword
Has anyone ever tried to make a total drain deck with Skill, Mind, and Soul Drain? (and maybe Magic Drains?).
vla1ne
Has anyone ever tried to make a total drain deck with Skill, Mind, and Soul Drain? (and maybe Magic Drains?).I did on DN once, it wasn't very consistent though. I think I still might have it.
Armoire
I always wondered if this worked against the summoning condition of stuff like Infernoids or BLS.
Expelsword
No, those "effects" don't activate.
Armoire
No, those "effects" don't activate. Thanks. And sorry, got a little off topic. With Honest and other ATK-boosting stuff running about, this does not seem too bad.
newhat
It's not as good as Soul Drain or Skill Drain because you do not always know what is in your opponent's hand, so you don't know what plays you are preventing.
heraldry_lord
It's not as good as Soul Drain or Skill Drain because you do not always know what is in your opponent's hand, so you don't know what plays you are preventing. That's great and everything, but the question is if this can be sided against Nekroz, which it can be in theory.
Darj
Wouldn't this be to Necloth what Mask of Restrict is to Qlips? It can stop some of their cards and plays, but won't stop them entirely, and thus is an ineffective floodgate when there should be better options. While you spend 1000 LP on this without actually stopping anything as Emptiness or Mistake would do because it only prevents activations, the opponent can still drop its Ritual Summons if it happens to have or draw into the cards it needs.
