mshends
From MasterGhost in neo ark cradle 'According to BBS, because E-Rah's Anti-Utopia doesn't allow Xyz Summons, what Yuma did was to morph with Astral, absorb the Number monsters in the Graveyard, then become a Number himself.' So basically.. Yuma and Astral are cheating :p What the actual-? WHAT? You know, the manga gets away with some ridiculous stuff, but I'm thinking suddenly that the Don Thousand Duel is more legit than this manga Duel. Because I think this same Duel had Shark and Kaito REMOLD two of the Numbers that had been molded already. In the sense that they took existing Number cards and changed their Numbers and abilities. Don Thousand had stupidly OP cards and one instance where the writers fumbled. That's tame by comparison to this.
mshends
Even as a huge zexal fan, what the darn writer was outrageous! I really hope that's not the case, the manga has been doing OK (with awesome character like E'Rah and Yagumo) but this sure will damage the reputation of this manga even further! I assume you're talking about the Cut-In Shark thing with Nasch apparently being asleep during half that turn? Yeah, that was dumb. It really is a shame it's gone this way, because E'Rah was actually a cool boss since her deck was so unique - literally making shadow doubles of the opponent's monsters to overpower them. Even Anti-Hope makes sense as a boss. But the heroes have mucked it all up...

iCherries
I don't know about you guys but I find what they did absolutely hysterical.I've always loved how absurdly stupid the power ups or final bosses are in the manga. This is just another thing that's funny.Mind you, Yuma and Astral cheating is 100% normal.
Kazooie
Mind you, Yuma and Astral cheating is 100% normal. Yeah I never watched past the first... 4? episodes of ZeXal or read the manga, but from what I've heard, if Astral and Yuma aren't cheating, then it wasn't actually them. I'm kinda surprised that any form of bullshit from this duo is surprising at this point, is it really that unexpected?

Well technically Don Thousand created his own cards if I remember correctly, so it's just as bad. But seriously, how the hell do you become.... A card. The full effect of this card if it's released irl will be something else for them to handle as well.

I was referring to Don Thousand using Numeron Chaos Ritual to use Numeron Network and Numbers 1-4 from the Graveyard as Overlays. Except Numbers 2-4 were banished by C1. They weren't in the Graveyard at all. Writers fumbled that, because the only other explanation would be that Don Thousand was literally cheating. Well technically Don Thousand created his own cards if I remember correctly, so it's just as bad. But seriously, how the hell do you become.... A card. The full effect of this card if it's released irl will be something else for them to handle as well. I've always decided to believe that the Barians in general, or individuals working on their behalf (Tron family) created their own cards, because that was the only explanation for some of the cards that referenced monsters or individuals that the in-universe world could not possibly have referenced. Like Number support when Numbers aren't even native to the human world, or artwork that references specific characters or monsters. The fact V created Argent Chaos Force, and Nasch had Barian's Chaos Draw, and Don Thousand had some access to the Numeron Code, plus the ability to create forgeries of Numbers may as well have confirmed this idea. The idea of Zexal literally becoming a monster/card, or Numbers being able to be remolded into completely different Numbers is a different level of asspull than Don Thousand's OP cards. Although with the molded Numbers, if it had kept the same numeral, I would consider it less atrocious, due to how Numbers are supposed to be molded to their owner's desires, and Kyoji could mold blank ones at will or something. It would make more sense that Numbers willfully molded into something by a person with no desire would be more flexible when molded by someone with a strong desire, but without manipulating the numeral, as the card number is essentially the Number's identity among the set. I'd like to think it was done this way, because they're planning to release the pre-remolding and post-remolding Numbers separately, and to save time, the writers just had the "heroes" alter the blanks Yagumo already had. Oh, right, that. I always assumed it could target banished cards as well and never checked, and indeed that's how it works on DevPro. That's not the first error like that either. GX had Supreme King Judai banishing a Clayman from his Graveyard that we never saw sent there with Dark Calling.

In YGOPro, I get around this problem by Tributing Numbers 2-4 for an Egyptian God or something and then overlaying Number 1 into Shunya.

Spinny
So from what I've gathered, this is what happened: Oh no they just got some anti-xyz bullshit! The only logical thing I can do now is cheat on astral and bang the xyz's in my graveyard! Muwahahaha I am now Not-Goku! Uses a massive beam of energy to win the duel. evilfusion
His card count for the rest of the duel only works if it was banished from the Grave. Did a quick card count. My conclusion is that Evil HERO Wild Cyclone required a discard, either to destroy the S/Ts or to lock them. That's the only timing that makes sense. Clayman would have to have been sent from The Deck, but it's more likely Hikokubo just forgot what he'd written prior.

evilfusion
So...S0 has an effect that it can be Xyz Summoned even if they're not allowed to Xyz Summon? (Alternatively, Shining Hope Road has that effect, but either way, it's stupid). And its Summon condition is 3 Number S monsters? Hahahaha....please never print this thing. Its effect is stated as "its Xyz Summon cannot be negated", but that makes no sense here. I know they'll print it, but I imagine it'll get the CXyz Barian treatment and be able to Overlay on just 1 monster.
