I really random idea I had, but I think that it turned out pretty neat.

 

Galaxy-Eyes Photon Particle

Dragon-Type/LIGHT
Level 4

This card's name becomes "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" while in the hand or Graveyard. You can only Special Summon "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Particle(s)" once per turn. If this card is Special Summoned: All "Photon" and "Galaxy" monsters you control become Level 8 until the end of this turn, but you cannot Special Summon other monsters for the rest of the turn, except "Galaxy-Eyes" monsters. An Xyz Monster that was Xyz Summoned using this card as Xyz Material gains this effect:

● The name of all Xyz Material attached to this card become "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon".

Ruling note:

You cannot Special Summon this card while it's name is "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" if you already Special Summoned it this turn. Regardless of how it was Special Summoned, you can only do it once per turn.

Wow. I must say that this is a very impressive and much needed addition to the Galaxy/Photon Archetype. This would make many Xyz power plays easier to do, not only because of the level 8 eff but the name change as well. Photon thrasher -> Galaxy knight -> This would be an amazing combo for Neo Galaxy Eyes! The potential for this and other combos might put Photon/Galaxy decks up a few tiers.

I think evilfusion would love this card if he ever saw it; shame though he doesn't come here often (or this was too early + didn't show up on recent topics). But that's not relevant right now,

 

Of course, it makes 62 easier to summon out and negate that half damage effect that usually occurs, so keeping that in mind, it'll hurt a lot more.

 

Then again, I don't play Galaxies, so can't really say if they need more ways to make Level 8s, but this certainly helps them go into their bosses.

Only way that I can see this card's effect triggering is via Accellight or revival stuff, but again I probably missed other stuff they use.

You can Special Summon this card with Galaxy Knight, Lillybot, Accellight, Starliege Lord Galaxion and Twin Photon Lizard to activate its effect. The main way I intended it to work is with Knight.
