Flash Flyer - Sakura Posted March 23, 2015 Report Share Posted March 23, 2015 It's come to our attention that some of you wanted more of an input in what happens in this section (or how things are being run). Therefore, I'll give you this thread to express your thoughts on what can be done to improve stuff in the area. A key issue that's come up amongst myself and Nai lately is the application of an Advanced Clause in the section. Some general reasoning is provided for its intended purpose. [spoiler=Notes] As many of you know, this section has had such a clause since I took it over in mid-July while under the name of "Pop Culture". Much like the one in Advanced/RC, the intent of it is to crack down on posts that either give solely OCG posts or otherwise things that do not help the TC to improve their craft. While I do not mind you giving compliments, keep in mind that you also need to write some relevant to how the card is designed; whether it's flavor-related, any implications with existing cards and so on. In other words, just elaborate on your thought processes while commenting on a user's thread, and you should be fine. 1-2 sentences is not hard to accomplish; if you do it properly, you should already fill the requirement. It helps you as a reviewer to learn how to critique properly, and helps the TC to see what they can do to improve. [/spoiler] --- That in mind, we'll be checking over things in here and talking about them amongst ourselves. So yes, your opinions are being considered + will make an impact on how things are run here. Above all though, please keep your opinions civil. If things go down to hell, thread will be locked + appropriate punishments will be given out if needed. Hopefully this doesn't happen. ---- So yeah, fire away.
