Tattackers, the Elemental Machines (Written) [12/?]

This Archetype is one that I'd been sitting on for a while. Basically, the entire deck is full of single-attribute Catastors. As always, hope you enjoy and CnC is appreciated!


Ground Tattacker EARTH ***
Machine/Effect
At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles an EARTH monster, destroy it.
ATK 1100 DEF 1600

Space Tattacker WIND ***
Machine/Effect
At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles a WIND monster, destroy it.
ATK 1400 DEF 1300

Sea Tattacker WATER ***
Machine/Effect
At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles a WATER monster, destroy it.
ATK 1200 DEF 1500

Vulcan Tattacker FIRE ***
Machine/Effect
At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles a FIRE monster, destroy it.
ATK 1600 DEF 1100

Shadow Tattacker DARK ***
Machine/Effect
At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles a DARK monster, destroy it.
ATK 1500 DEF 1200

Justice Tattacker LIGHT ***
Machine/Effect
At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles a LIGHT monster, destroy it.
ATK 1300 DEF 1400

The Elemental Catastors. Pair 'em up with DNA Transplant and you got yourself an indestructible (by battle) set of monsters.

Pair Tattacker EARTH *
Machine/Tuner
Once per turn: you may change this card's Attribute. If another Pair Tattacker is
on your side of the field, this card cannot be targeted. If this face-up card is
destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you may add 2 level 3 or lower
"Tattacker" monsters with the same name from your deck to your hand. This card
cannot declare an attack if it is the only monster you control.

A Super-Searcher. I'm wondering if this is too much though...

Tattacker General EARTH ****
Machine/Tuner
Once per turn: you may discard a card to change this card's Attribute. If you do,
you may increase or decrease this card's level by 1 until the End Phase. This
card's ATK and DEF are equal to the number of different Attribute "Tattacker"
monsters you control x 600. While you control another face-up "Tattacker" monster,
you choose the attack targets for your opponent's attacks.
ATK ? DEF ?

A lvl 4 boss monster. A Patrician of Darkness for the Tattackers, allowing you to determine what monster attacks which Tattacker. Of course, it being a level changing tuner allows for its use outside "Tattacker" decks. Also wondering if it is too powerful...

Rainbow Summon
Continuous Spell
Once per turn, you may Normal Summon a monster with a different Attribute than the monsters you control in addition to your Normal Summon/Set.

A continuous Double Summon with a condition. Helps get out multiple Tattackers for a XYZ/Synchro

 

 

Tattacker Bombardment

Trap

When a "Tattacker" monster is Summoned, you may activate this card.  Destroy all Spell/Trap cards your opponent controls then take 500 damage for each.  If this card is destroyed, negate its effect.

 

A conditional, nerfed Harpie's Feather Duster.  Funnily enough, this card's effect can be neg'd by an MST

 

 

Tattacker Trade

Counter Trap

When your opponent declares an attack on a "Tattacker" monster you control, you can activate this effect.  Return the targeted Tattacker monster to your deck then special summon 1 "Tattacker" monster with a different Attribute from your hand or deck.  The attacking monster must attack the Special Summoned monster.

 

A counter trap that helps trigger Pair Tattacker or gets out a more beneficial Tattacker Attribute.  A quick 0 regardless of what's chosen.

 

 

Tattacker Construction Zone

Field Spell

Once during either player's Main Phase: target 1 monster on the field.  Excavate the top 5 cards of your deck.  Special Summon any revealed "Tattacker" monsters with the same attribute as the targeted monster, then shuffle the rest of the cards into your deck.  If no "Tattacker" monsters were revealed that has the same Attribute, send the bottom card from your deck to the graveyard, then shuffle the revealed cards into the deck.

 

Another means of summoning Tattackers.  In this case, EARTH is probably the Attribute to target since 3/8 of the Tattackers are (initially) Earth.  I don't know why, but this doesn't fit the "field spell vibe", though to be honest...

I think they need a bit of spell and trap support, like a way to special summon them. You could also do, since they are all level 3, a rank 3 xyz maybe that destroys a monster on the field with the same attribute as a tattacker. Also, a trap that forces the opponents monsters to attack would be nice, but only if it does more to the archetype than that. Cool Archetype though!
