BatMed
© 1996 Kazuki Takahashi | Batmed [Masked Dark Magician | Secret Rare] DARK | Spellcaster ✪✪✪✪ [spoiler='Effect'] When this card is Summoned; send 1 Spellcaster-Type monster from your Deck to your Graveyard. Once per turn, you can discard 1 Spellcaster-Type monster; until the End Phase, this card’s Level becomes 7, also it cannot be destroyed by your opponent’s card effects. VampireofDarkness
I want to say this is indirect Shaddoll support, but then that would be running inferior cards (Meaning not Mathematician). It's tough to find a role for this in the real game, but Dark Magician.dek is suitable enough. You can send your Dark Magician, activate your Eternal Soul, then Xyz into Ebon Illusion Magician after the discard for the 2nd effect. That's quite good, but I don't think it's too game breaking considering the weight and consistency. It gives the Deck a power play for sure, and makes Eternal Soul much more reliable then before. I think I can roll with that! If anything, just give the 1st effect a Hard OPT to prevent some abuse, although it is less practical in such Deck. Just a slight OCG error, for the last effect, the SS eff would be "you can target 1 DARK Spellcaster-Type monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target."
