[Post Contest] Demiurge

Forest Fire

So if any of you know this little tid-bit about Sophia: "This card is based on the Aeon Sophia in Gnostic Mythology.", I decided to do some digging about Gnostic Mythology through Wikipedia and found out a little about it.

"Gnosticism describes a collection of ancient religions whose followers shunned the material world - which they viewed as created by the demiurge - and embraced the spiritual world."

And while this feels like more of a spiritual figure, the creator of the material world would have to be one of spiritual origin, thus the idea of the contest (banishing) and the art seemed to blend together with the idea of a benign creator who appalls violence (hence the no battle, no effect thing).

I just wish I hadn't been as lazy as I was when making this to not post what's up there ^. Anyway, here's the card:

Lore: Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 1 face-up DARK level 5 or higher, and 1 face-up  LIGHT level 5 or higher monster from your side of the field or your Graveyard. When this card is Summoned, you may discard a number of cards from your hand, if you do; your opponent cannot declare an attack or activate the effects of monsters whose levels are less then 5 for a number of their turns equal to the number of cards you discarded.

I tried to make it more usable, hopefully not too abusable.

It looks to me like when it does hit a strategy, it hits it pretty hard, as in GG material. However, it sounds a bit unreliable for nowadays. I mean, back in the Synchro era this would have been a huge lockdown since you always required low levels to create your combos, but nowadays we see things like high Rank decks full of 7s and 8s or at the very least many decks can skip to big cards that'll be unaffected by it, like Nekroz going into most of their Rituals, Qliphs with their original Levels, Shadolls going right into high-Level Fusions (though they'll suffer from not having their materials float), and so on.

Then there's that it has a pretty heavy cost. I can only think of chaos dragons consistently fulfilling the required pieces to Summon this, and I wonder if they'd wanna use it... it also is a dangerous investment, with those discards.... I guess a potential +0 3400 beater with even a 1 turn effect is solid enough, but maybe during testing it'd be more of a late game tech that'd dead draw most of the time....

Or maybe I'm missing some super consistent cards that'll work with this without me realizing it xD
