HolyPilgrim
I was tinkering with some cards and found those Rock-Type Koa'kis that can stop anything by tributing themselves (Wall, Sandman, Guardian and Overdose), and I liked them, but their trubuting are too costy since it leaves your field open, so I came up with this card idea. Is it too overloaded with effects? This card basically makes so that you aren't left open after negating your opponent's effects by tributing a Rock Koa'ki while rewarding you by leaving a decent defense, who can be protected by Catapult Zone, and eventually milling your deck for a super Megarock Dragon or a Gaia Plate with enough "fuel" for many turns with boosted ATK by this card's counters. I was thinking of another high-level Rock-Type to combo with this card, but still haven't finished it. Anyways, thoughts? OP?
The Nyx Avatar
I think it would work. The lack of support for Rock-Type monsters can't really render this card overpowered. Really, the only real life support I can think of aside from the ones you just mentioned is Block Golem.
HolyPilgrim
Thanks for the feedback! There are still other cards that support Rock-Types, such as Attack the Moon and Canyon, but they are more focused in defensive/flipping Rock decks. Then there are Rock Bombardment and Catapult Zone to mill your deck to summon Megarock or Gaia Plate, and then you can summon a banished Rock with Release from Stone. But yeah, Rock-Types are kinda neglected and there aren't any support for them especifically for Aggro decks. And I guess the first effects are too specific and balance this card nicely. The Nyx Avatar
You're welcome. Rocks lack support. I liked the four Rock-Type Koa'ki Meiru, but they're slow to execute. Withering Obelisk could be the support they need.
