Special Summon this card as an Effect Monster (Warrior-Type/LIGHT/Level 8/ATK 3000/DEF 2500). (This card is also still a Spell Card.) This card remains on the field after activation. While this card is an Effect Monster, it gains the following effects:•This card is unaffected by other Spell/Trap effects during the Battle Phase.•If this card would be targeted for an attack: make it a direct attack instead.I special kind of spell that acts as equipment but yet not a equip spell, instead a type of Spell Monster which acts as with your equipped with the card yourself as if you take damage its treated as being dealt damage by a direct attack but yet to fight along side your monsters. I'd only do 2 main changes: if you want it to be like a Trap Monster, then it should be a Continuous Spell. 2nd just change the 2nd effect to "If this card is attacked: make it a Direct Attack instead" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If this card would be targeted for an attack: make it a direct attack instead. I really don't see the point in this. I wouldn't play it in Heroes and I doubt anyone else would if not for giggles. Just too inconsistent, and really the effect is nothing major, but it might be worth something if it was a "Change" card. Mechanic would be kept clear and simple if it was a Continuous.Wouldn't that be the same with asking why Swords of revealing light isn't a continuous spell and instead just made it as a continuous spell with the following "During your opponents 3rd End-Phase after this cards activation: destroy this card."Still in turn this would provide a extra monster and making a Fusion HERO isn't that hard with Blazeman and Masked HERO stuff.Minor edit: just to provide more use I upped its ATK and DEF by 500 and made it a level 8 as a result of that. Well it would. Swords' design is pretty unnecessary too. And this card would provide an extra monster but it's pretty much winmoar and not very helpful in a tight spot. Idk, maybe I judged it a bit harshly, but imo it would be a lot better if it were unaffected by card effects in the BP altogether. I'd still make it Continuous as this card is following the Trap Monsters who are all Continuous. I don't know if there is a deck that would run this beyond using it to Fuse for the Element Fusions...
