CrabHelmet
It's the same reason that Monty Python and the Holy Grail isn't funny anymore either. Discuss.
Arekku_Koro
The abridged series is still funny and quality entertainment.
RiffMaster Alex
^ I agree with the above comment. Overquoting didn't kill it.

SephirothKirby
Eh, I don't think it killed it, but people will quote what is popular. I find the abridged series funny either way.
J-Max
One I don't hear much is "Shut up Mokuba!" Although hearing "In America" After almost every sentence I Buy this Big Mac for America!

OmegaWave
The abridged series will never die. Seeing people quote it should be a good thing because that means people still watch it and think it's funny. If I made an abridged series *Cough*Iam*Cough*, I'd be flattered if I saw people quoting my work.

tonisanoob
the only thing thats soo uver used is the whole did your testicles just drop in the last 5 seconds bit its only funny the first time and i personally think the new episodes are funnyer, liek the council of doom 2 episode, i could hardly breethe with that your mother plays card games in hellyes i kno, i put here there(i think) or "i never saw paris"
kakashi4eva
ah its still ok, i mean i still luv the abridged series....but my brother and bf run around going either "screw the rules i have money/green hair" or "my voice gives me super strength. well my hair lets me defy gravity." that gets annoying after a while but we did decide that our senior prank this year was to come to school dressed as some of the characters and do a performance of one of the abrdged episodes in the courtyard^^ that will be fun! Cyber Altair
they may be overused, by they are still funny. i have to go now so i wont post such a detailed post. Even thought they are overused, deosnt mean they aren't funny anymore, just the fact that you wont laught as much as you did. Also doctors said that a man can live for 200 years and stay sexy if he watches at least 2 Abriged Episodes every day ;)

Surprises are funnier than the old stuff, I will agree with that. However, it's still funny, and when it's combined, it's made of win. If everything was new and ROFLMAO-super-hilarious, then we'd probably be laughing so much we'd miss the episode, and have to re-watch it. This is basically making it old, so it's the same case, we just didn't watch it. Also, laughing too much hurts. ;)
SushiTheLegend
Might I ask what you are referring to by "Holy Grail" becayse the only thing that comes to mind is the Holy Grail War which is part of the Fate/Stay series. As for the quotage...it does get annoying after a while.

As for the quotage...it does get annoying after a while. Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Anyway, I just found the Abridged Series recently, and I don't know anybody that quotes it. (Except for one person, and the only quote he uses is: "Your Mother Plays Card Game In Hell")
