Select and activate one of the following effects:
- During the turn this card is activated, whenever your opponent Special Summons a monster(s) from their Graveyard, they must banish 1 monster from their Graveyard for each monster Special Summoned.
- During the turn this card is activated, whenever your opponent Special Summons a monster from the Extra Deck, they must send 1 monster of the same Level/Rank from their Extra Deck to the Graveyard, otherwise negate the summon.
You can only activate 1 "Mentality Fatality" per turn.

I always digged cards such as Different Dimension Ground that put a one turn lock of some sort, so I suppose this is something between that and Maxx "C". While this is more geared toward the recent and coming Duel Portal tournaments, where getting at least 1 of these effects off prominently will be a thing, this certainly has some application against the real game, especially with Vanity going to 1 meaning less blanket outs to combo centric Decks.

As a Fatality myself, I approve of this card.

 

I also like concepts like this. Art is great too, though that's not so important. Card is a lot of fun, though the fact you have to activate it before they summon something from the extra deck balances it out a bit.

Well, in the case of Shaddolls, you can chain it to a Fusion spell...then they can send another fusion to immediately retrieve the spell they just used...So yeah, you want to use this before they touch the extra.
