SirReal Posted April 19, 2015 Report Share Posted April 19, 2015 Something that can be an issue with the wording is that cards in the pendulum scales are treated as spell cards. It's probably alright but if you can find something that can get around that fact, that'll be nice. Onto the actual effect: Being a flexible scale for normal pendulums is fantastic, making it never dead, even when you open two of this. However, the scale changing effect has no once per turn clause so people can run the duel into time by changing its scale to 7, then to 2, then to 7 ad infinitum. Just a soft "Once per turn: you can..." will do the job. Considering you are playing this in normal pendulums, putting a normal pendulum monster in the grave is typically rare since you usually want to save your 2500 beaters for revival. But this does promote Xyz play since you will get (temporary) backrow clearing on top of detaching. Looks solid, balanced, and helps its archetype's weakness.
