The Nyx Avatar
LORE:1 Reptile-Type monster + 1 Level/Rank 6 or lower monster Must first be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by sending the above cards from either side of the field to the Graveyard. (You do not use "Polymerization".) You can only control 1 face-up "Lamia of Justice." When this card is Special Summoned, you can shuffle 1 of your banished Reptile-Type monsters to your Deck. Reptile-Type monsters are unaffected by your opponent's Trap effects. If a Reptile-Type monster would be destroyed by a card effect, you can pay 1000 Life Points instead. Once per turn, you can activate 1 of the following effects: ● Special Summon 1 Reptile-Type monster from your Graveyard. ● Target 1 monster on the field; its ATK becomes 0. Kidan Dragneel
Honestly I would Like to say you gave something Reptiles need, a Generic Heavy Hitter, I mean you have Vennominon the King of the Poisonous Snakes but it seems like he was only Built for Venom Decks and That makes it not really usable in Different Reptile Decks like Aliens or Worms or the Reptiliannes, so I give you props you gave the other Reptile Decks a bit of power which makes it a nice concept being that I used to Run Aliens along time ago. The Nyx Avatar
Thank you. I thought that Reptiles was the type with the least support, and Konami (or anyone else you'd like to specify) doesn't really concern with making new support for Reptiles. It usually defaults to Warrior, Spellcaster, and Dragon.
Kidan Dragneel
I am starting to see even less support now for Dragons since Arc-V hit, all Dragon monsters have been are Fusion, Ritual, Synchro, Xyz or Pendulum not many just Normal or Effect, I think they're trying to Replace normal and Effect Dragon-Type monsters with Wyrm so its more like we might add Dragon-type Archetypes to the dying Breed but I understand your meaning, I mean as Said I think I named off the only Four PURE Reptile-Type Archetypes and each one had a different play style Aliens=Based on the Number of A Counters to Perform you plays Worms=Flip Effects and Flipping Face-up Retilianne=Making the Attack Points 0 to set up Big damage amounts. Venom=Burn Damage/Counters But I would like to see a New Reptile-Type Only Which I don't know acutally does the triple summoning method give like this new type a could of Synchro, Xyz, and Fusions so that its more applying to all kinds of Players since I think that's why some archetypes don't work is that its only matched to one Extra Deck summoning type or none at all. Armoire
I just noticed that this card can be summoned by using monsters from both sides of the field. That alone makes this card really powerful as a form of instant removal; that's something Reptile-type monsters need, in my opinion. It is a solid card, but I feel like its first effect is really out of place and is unnecessary. And its "● Special Summon 1 Reptile-Type monster from your Graveyard." effect could make insane, low-cost comebacks with this card. Here is an example of a situation where your opponent has 3 Level/Rank 6 (or lower) monsters (which happens a lot more often nowadays): You summon a Reptile-Type monster. You use the said Reptile-Type monster and one of your opponent's monsters to Summon this. You use Lamia of Justice's effect to Special Summon the Reptile you just tributed for its summon. You summon another Lamia using the same Reptile-Type monster. Repeat steps 3 and 4. Your opponent has no monsters and you have 3 Lamias that are unaffected by Traps. The third Lamia can still use its effect to summon another Reptile for an OTK. I would say either scrap the "● Special Summon 1 Reptile-Type monster from your Graveyard." effect as a whole or add a "You can only control 1 "Lamia of Justice". clause to avoid the problem of said OTK. But all in all, the card is wonderful for Reptile-Types and offers a wonderful boon to their current lack of power.
The Nyx Avatar
Thanks for your input guys! I've added "You can only control 1 face-up Lamia of Justice." to the card's effect. I know what you were referring to. I knew with its method of Summoning you could Summon more. I was questioning if I should change it; no one questioned about it prior. Anyways, thanks.
