LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
Here we talk about countries. Specifically your country. Whatever country that may be. What do you think of your country? What do you like about it? Dislike? Think should change? How do you feel about the way people see your country? Discuss. Please keep it calm; ranting is okay but don't be rude.
Rodrigo
Well, my country is a jungle. With all those big ass trees and monkeys roaming around, survival of the fittest is the law. Luckily I've been enlightened by the power of the internet so I'm one step ahead of those apes, but who knows when a a huge gorilla will start throwing bananas at me. Otherwise, be aware of a fuckton of mosquitos and dodge the malaria, and you should be fine. In all seriousness, I love my country, but I wish I had a better government. Simping For Hina
I have nothing to say about the US. Can I speak about North Korea, the greatest country ever?
Northern Sage
We're sundering our reputation with inept politicians and awful systems in place.
The Amazing Avian
UE summed it up pretty well. Also, I really hate how I've lived here for about 15 years and I'm still not even a resident.
Mutant Monster RAEG-HAPYP
America is not the best but not the worst. That's where I stand. Although, I also don't believe there is such a thing as a "best" country.
Azure Wolf
Northern Ireland has almost nothing of interest besides places to look at and a high rated spa and resort. We have rocks, a rope bridge and a really bad amusement park. Go south, east or west for more to do. South for the Republic of Ireland, East for the rest of Britain, and West for the US. Though we do have the Titanic building so you can learn about a badly built ship and the sets for Game of Thrones. Though despite all this I'm probably never going leave besides for holidays. EHN.
I have a dual citizenship so I guess I'll talk about both. First off is Serbia, where I am from. Serbia is an extremely misunderstood country due to past conflict, but when you look past the politics it is actually a great place (at least from my biased point of view). I love basically everything about it, the people, the culture, how close everyone from a community is. Also, the alcohol is great (you can get some of the best Rakija you will ever find in Serbia). As for downsides, the government is more or less a shithole. One of the main problems is pay is horrible in most jobs while everything still remains expensive. On to where I, for the most part, actually live: the UK (England specifically). There isn't really much to say about England, everything is basically common knowledge anyway. It's a pretty good place to live and compared to my home country it has a much better economy and living standards are drastically better. So far in my 11 years of living here I've liked England as a country. However, naturally, it will never have the same appeal to me as Serbia does. We're also the only country in the world that makes students pay to go to college... Where did you get this idea?
EHN.
Americans pay twice; once to enter and again later if they took out a student loan, which you bet they'll need in this economy. Literally nobody I've spoken to from other countries has this problem. I see, I didn't realise what you were trying to say.
The banterbus is in town
S C O T L A N D C O T L A N D Probably the most stable yet unstable country in the UK. "Do we wanna be independent?" "45% say yes therefore we're staying in the UK" I fucking love the bullshit my country is. Cool as fuck lore as well. God tier anthem and tourism. You are a 3 hour train journey to everywhere. Green hills <3 The most beautiful city in the world imo. We have both the "happiest" city along with it having the highest number of knife crime in Europe iirc. Yup. Nothing like living in the greatest country in the world. OG as fuck freest country in the world. Free tuition. Free health service. Generally one political party here. I'd love to visit other places, but fuck me, this place is my home and I'm damn proud of it <
Tentacruel
Americaaaaa, FUCK YEAH But really, as many (valid) criticisms there are about it, it is great to live here (relatively speaking), no matter what people tell you.

I'd love to visit other places, but f*** me, this place is my home and I'm damn proud of it <333 My flatmate just went to Scotland and showed me a few photos and stuff. The highlands look absolutely stunning. I've been to Scotland many times, but only to see my girlfriend in Hawick. Been to Edinburgh as well, really beautiful city. Anyway, I live in England and want to move away at the first opportunity. I fucking despise it. Its ruled by corporations who use government and media to gain power and as a result the political and social structure is a mess and works against people who aren't rich. Most cities are ugly, poverty-ridden and falling apart, unless you're in the rich areas. I may be over-exaggerating the state we're in because I'm really fucking angry about the Tories getting a "majority", but the country is definitely on its way down. The only consolation is we aren't yet quite as bad as America.

G4hardcore
New York is overrated. The country as a whole is great and all, but New York smells like piss, the cost of living is disproportionately higher than most other states in the country, and the people are incredibly unrepentant about their rudeness and lack of general manners. I've lived in many places, I'm eager to skip this place. The snow is nice though!
~ P O L A R I S ~
^Spent a year in Brooklyn and can pretty much echo your sentiments but would still rather be there than here (London, Ontario). Canada is full of awful weather, deceit, parochialism, passive aggression, pettiness, mock politeness, and hockey.
Fusion X. Denver
America's pretty alright, I like it. I do think our political system needs some reorganization. And it'd be great if everything didn't revolve around money, but what can you do. I really loved Switzerland though. I feel like I'd live there if everything wasn't super expensive. G4hardcore
America's head isn't going anywhere. It is firmly, and comfortably I might add, lodged securely in place. Even King Arthur couldn't pull it out man.
Tentacruel
This. Seriously, America needs to get their head out of their ass and start buckling down on the national debt, cause China practically owns us right now. The deficit is getting lower. We're down to 483 billion over budget. :'D
