After activation banish this card face-down. During the turn you activated this card you cannot conduct your Battle-Phase this turn. You can only activate "Card Shifter" once per turn.So a card than can change itself into a Normal Spell or Normal Trap at the cost of your Battle-Phase seems nice right? DuelSpectre Posted May 10, 2015 Report Share Posted May 10, 2015 In my opinion, card does way too much without any negative restrictions; its a 1 for 1 in exchange for...no battle phase? That's a little bit too lenient, considering you can pull any Normal Spell/Trap from your Graveyard. I would suggest something like this: Target 1 Normal Spell/Trap card in your Graveyard; banish 1 card from your hand, and if you do, Set that card directly from your Graveyard. You cannot activate that card this turn, also you cannot conduct your Battle Phase. You can only use the effect of "Card Shifter" once per turn, and only once that turn. I did 5 things that you can use as a baseline for revising your card: 1. The card has to be targeted; this allows the opponent to banish the card you targeted (D.D Crow, Infernoid, etc.) 2. I added an additional cost of banishing a card from your hand, making it a technical -1. However, the card you returned is most likely worth the -1. 3. The card is set, so the opponent can destroy it with MST. Also it can't be activated, which will prevent various loops. 4. I added a hard OPT clause so Diamond Dude can't abuse it. 5. Here's correct lore: Once per Duel, pay 1000 Life Points and add 1 Normal Trap or Spell (from your Graveyard) that was used during your previous turn (to your hand).
