Law of the Highlander
Trap Card
Type: Continuous
While all the cards in your Graveyard and/or face-up on your side of the field and Extra Deck have different names, neither player can activate cards, or the effects of cards, with the same name as a card in their Graveyard and/or face-up on their side of the field, nor Summon monsters with the same name as a monster in their Graveyard and/or face-up on their side of the field and Extra Deck. If you control only 1 monster and all the monsters in your Graveyard and/or face-up on your side of the field and Extra Deck have different names: You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target that monster; this turn, it cannot be destroyed by battle and is unaffected by your opponent's card effects.

Just a silly floodgate I thought about on a whim.

Basically, it forces the opponent to play Highlander-style, but is mostly playable on Highlander decks, so you must be playing this game from the beginning.

Posting it in Casual because I don't think it's a card that would be enjoyable, or maybe not even playable, in Advanced Format.

Thoughts?

Yes, it doesn't check banished cards on purpose, in order to make it a bit more playable.

It doesn't check face-up Pendulum monsters in the ED either, something that I'm considering fixing.

Also I should adress the issue of this card locking itself with another copy of it. Thinking in a Breaktrough-ish grave effect of banishing itself.

Bump

Added a in-grave second effect that not only further rewards Highlander decks, but also allows them to run multiple copies of this Trap Card by banishing itself from the grave.

Also the card now checks for Pendulums in the ED.
