AnnieShifter
Dragonpit Magician WATER Level 7 Spellcaster/Pendulum Scale 8 Pendulum Effect Once per turn, if you have a "Magician" card in your other Pendulum Zone: You can discard 1 Pendulum Monster, then target 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field; destroy it. Monster Effect A genius magician who has acquired the supernatural power to awaken the soul of young dragons. Due to his taciturn, stoic attitude towards magic, he's rather bad at dealing with others, but his protégé, "Dragonvein Magician", always manages to turn around the trainwreck of a situation. ATK: 900 DEF:2700 Probably the best scale 8 magician in the archetype so far. Level 7 for xyz and with a good pendulum effect. My main backrow popper and helps discard Noble Magician for later use. Discuss your opinions on the card, and possibly what you think about it and Dragonvein.
Yellow Jacket
Can't say much about it until I can try it out on DN. But it has awesome artwork. Like the idea of acting as a face-up MST while also setting up for Absolute Dragon.
Hexanort
yup definitely the one of the best magician, generic scale 8 that is easily searchable by many thing (odd-eyes, summoner's art, insight) , s/t popping help get you out from some floodgates, or sometime, allow you to replace your own scale summonable by magician of illusion to help R7 play too
TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
The Magician pendulum archetype is awesome in general. I'm just waiting for a surprise ritual odd-eyes support.
Blake
One of the best cards in the deck. I really don't feel it warrants summoner's art, though.
Bringerofcake
Does anyone actually run its level 4 corollary anymore? I feel like 1 scale isn't worth it. 8 Scale with added backrow protection/noble dragon setup is just godlike.

I feel like 1 scale isn't worth it. 8 Scale with added backrow protection/noble dragon setup is just godlike.Well it's Level 4. And it /destroys monsters/.Peasant/Pit is the optimal setup, but it's a djinn out that's a level 4 monster at other times.Run, like, 2 of it. SirReal
Eccentric Archfiend is a Djinn out as well.
Blake
Eccentric Archfiend is a Djinn out as well.Is it highly searchable? Is it level 4? I mean, your point seems really poor.
SirReal
Well it is within Odd-Eye's search range, Mathematician/Armaknight can search it by dumping Archfiend Heiress and you don't need to have an open scale to use its effect. Downside: You would need to normal summon it.
