They are mostly comprised of big cards (hardly any Level 1 plays) but of those big cards come a lot of negative side effects. However, their negatives can quickly turn into positives in the right situation. The key word to any Veritas deck is "Combo". Veritas can also focus on direct Life Burn and have the best forms of removal, as another example of their far-reaching capabilities.
