This is my first attempt at creating an archetype for this section. The Spartan deck's purpose is to take the part of the game many people on Dueling Network condemn, how the game is now use this effect, swarm the field, and then OTK. This deck takes that strategy away by having effects that change the attack power of monsters both players control. It also contains cards that take away the ability to destroy the field in order to get the OTK.

Spartan Smitus
Level 4
Warrior/Effect
Earth
ATK:2000 DEF:1100

Cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects. Once per turn, if this card is targeted by a card effect: You can change this card's battle position; Negate that effect. If this card attacks: It gains 300 ATK until the end of the Damage Step.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spartan King Leonidas
Level 6
Warrior/Effect
Earth
ATK:2500 DEF:1900

Cannot be destroyed or targeted by your opponent's card effects. If this card destroys an opponent's monster and inflicts battle damage: You can send the top card of your Deck to the Graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Spartan" monster from your Deck, except "Spartan King Leonidas". You can only use the effect of "Spartan King Leonidas" once per turn.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spartan Koratos

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hm. I see where you're going with this archetype, but I believe you benefited them too much. You essentially wanted to make an archetype of cards that would force both players to interact through battles with these monsters having the added benefit of high stats to give them an advantage.

Let me be frank, I think the high stats are just too much. With the ability to run 4 Raigekis (Dark Holes + Torrential), plus shrug off any targeted removal and hold no MST downside for Call of the Haunted/Oasis...well quite simply even without the high stats, they should have little trouble retaining field presence. Just reduce all the monsters' stats by 2-300 and Leonidas would be good at 2300 ATK. I would also alter Koratos' effect so that the search effect only works from field (maybe hand) to graveyard. Otherwise it could have some really powerful applications (Mathematician/Foolish Burial = instant Leonidas).

Spartian Deplomacy seems... Pretty useless, honestly. Banner of courage gives the same ATK boost but to all monsters and you are locking yourself out of destruction traps since you don't care about opponent destruction traps.

Inspection is cool. Gives swarming ability and can get out Leonidas easily from the Deck. Discard Koratos and it ends up a 0 in total advantage. I would put a hard OPT on it though.

Profession gives a boost for battles and offers further protection. However, the "unable to respond" effect is a bit much, especially when Spartain Chain Link existing. Maybe you could have a chaining deterrent instead ("players must pay 800 life points to activate a card in response", or something).

Sparta is fine if a bit limited. You could have your Spartian monsters be unaffected by trap effects in general and it wouldn't alter its power all that much. The reduction effect is also fine, but Koratos could easily make it a bit OP. If you wanted to help the anti-meta flavor of the deck, you could also have Sparta reduce the levels of opponent's monsters as well.

Chain Link and Reinforcements are fine imo.

Just a couple balancing issues, but other than that, I think these could be a pretty cool irl archetype!
