Timechasers

This was another somewhat odd idea of mine. Monsters that enter weak, and get stronger the longer their around, to a certain cap.

Lore: When this card is Summoned, place 3 Time Counters on it. This card loses 500 ATK/DEF and decreases its Level by 1 for each Time Counter on it. If this card would be destroyed by battle and sent to the graveyard: You can remove 1 Time Counter instead. If this card attacks: You can remove a Time Counter from this card, and if you do, this card can attack your opponent directly this turn. This card is treated as a Spellcaster-Type monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard.

Lore: This card can be Normal Summoned without Tributing, but when you do, place 4 Time Counters on it. If this card was Normal Summoned by Tributing a monster, place 2 Time Counters on this card. This card loses 500 ATK/DEF and decreases its Level by 1 for each Time Counter on it. If this card would be destroyed by your opponent's card effect and sent to the Graveyard: You can remove 1 Time Counter instead. During each of your Standby Phases, remove 1 Time Counter from this card.

Lore: You may only control 1 face up Timechaser Magister. Once per turn: You can remove 1 Time Counter from each "Timechaser" monster you control, and if you do, place an equal number of Lesson Counters on this card. This card gains 500 ATK/DEF and increases its Level by 1 for every Lesson Counter on it (max. 11).

Lore: 1 Tuner + 1 or more Non-Tuner monsters

When this card is summoned, place 5 Time Counters on it, it loses 500 attack and defense and lowers its level by 1 for each time counter on it. When this card is syncro summoned, remove 1 Time Counter from it for each "Timechaser" monster used as a syncro material. Whenever a "Timechaser" monster you control other than "Timechaser Destiny Bender" would be destroyed and sent to the graveyard: you may remove a time counter from this card or draw one card.

Lore: Equip only to a "Timechaser" Monster. The equipped monster gains 1000 defense points plus 200 attack points for each time counter among monsters you control.

Lore: Whenever a Time Counter is removed from a "Timechaser" monster you control you may place 1 Time Counter on this card (max20). Once per turn you may remove up to 3 Time Counters from this card and place that many Time Counters among "Timechaser" monsters you control. Whenever a Time Counter is removed from this card: Gain 100 life points. When this card would be destroyed by a card effect, you may remove 3 Time Counters instead. You may send this card to the graveyard with 15 Time Counters, if you do shuffle all "Timechaser" monsters from your graveyard into your deck, then draw 2 cards and gain 100 life points for each time counter that was on this card.

Timechasers aren't an actual Type, so yeah they go in Experimental. (Basically on Seraph and Magister; fix those and I can move this back to Casual.)

In any case, hopefully you're aware that Counter Cleaner exists; and more/less can get rid of the drawbacks on everything but Magister (even though you can essentially do that with him; albeit slower and not sacrificing your protection as quickly).

Essentially, you can summon Seraph without Tribute; play that card and then you have a walking 3K beatstick without much setup (although removing the counters forcibly is detrimental to its protection against Raigeki, Dark Hole and whatever). Same with Swordsman and stuff like that; removing the counters prevents Assassin and him from battle protection, as well as Assassin's direct attack thing.

Magister can get strong over time, and certainly multiple copies extradite the process of making your other Timechasers stronger by removing their "limiters". I'm thinking that you could put a hard OPT on it, but since you are sacrificing destruction protection on them just to power it up, you'll have to legitimately think of what you want to do in the situation. I think you should be fine leaving it as is. It can hit 5500 ATK at maximum power, but it's unlikely you'll get it that far; though I'd likely lower the stat boosting a little bit to be on the safe side.

I'll go ahead and fix the OCG.

Assassin

Changed Magister to effect Timechaser name monsters, as well as limiting his effect to 1 timechaser and opt. Fixed types on Seraph and Magister and I'm using your wordings, since they are more correct than mine were.

Keep in mind that the bumping rule is 24 hours.

I understand the section is dead lately, but recall that you posted an hour before with the changes you've made.

With that in mind, you've changed the card Types to realistic ones so I can move this to Casual Multiples now.

-----

Wording-wise, it's written in PSCT so easier to understand how/when effects will trigger.
