Lazerface Posted June 9, 2015 Report Share Posted June 9, 2015 This card is always treated as a "ShadowKeeper"card. All "ShadowKeeper" monsters gain 500 ATK and DEF. Cards in either player's Graveyard cannot be banished. Negate any card effect that would move a card in the Graveyard, other than itself, to a different place except for shuffling it into the Flip: You can return this card to the hand then return all monsters on the field to the hand.( you must discard 1 "ShadowKeeper" card to resolve this effect" When this card is summoned add 1 "ShadowKeeper monster from your deck to the hand. during either players turn when an card effect is activated, shuffle this card into the deck, then banish that card and then banish all other copies from play. If you control a "ShadowKeeper" monster you can special summon this card from your hand. Once per turn you can add 1 "ShadowKeeper" card to your hand. IF this card is shuffled into the deck, draw 2 cards. If you control a "ShadowKeeper" monster you can special summon this card from your hand. Once per turn you can shuffle this card and 1 card from your hand or graveyard into the deck and draw 3 cards. If shuffled into the deck shuffle up to 2 cards on the field or in either graveyard into the deck. If you control a "ShadowKeeper" monster you can special summon this card from your hand. I don't really know how to explain, the idea i had for it, but, it supposed to be mainly anti-meta/ stun. Not sure on what to do for boss monster let alone, if they need one in the first place. the only thing i can say is that i may need to tweak the field spell a bit so magister still gets its effect. ih and as for the choice of spellcaster type, i did this so rota would not be a thing, but also because the the nightingale, which most of the cards are modeled after would use magic, or blessings to conduct their activities. any thoughts or opinions on the idea are welcome, i will be continuing the series with more monsters and spells, as well as possible xyz and synchros. again any and all feedback is welcome. Tinkerer Posted June 9, 2015 Report Share Posted June 9, 2015 Shadowkeepers, the descendants of Gravekeepers. I like the idea, but I'm going to have to be kinda blunt. These guys are way too powerful and they have huge FTK potential. Take this scenario: NS Shade to add Nightingale SS Nightingale Trigger Nightingale to add Nightingale SS Nightingale Trigger Nightingale to add Nightingale SS Nightingale Trigger Nightingale to add Mistwalker SS Mistwalker Trigger Mistwalker and shuffle 1 card from hand into deck + itself to draw 3. Trigger Mistwalker 2nd effect. Shuffle Nightingales into deck Draw 4 Continue as long as necessary. My advice is to firstly put hard OPTs on each card (ex. "you can only use 1 "Shadowkeeper X" effect per turn and only once that turn"). That will stop the loops and limit you into figuring out which effect you'd want to do that would be best for that situation. I commend you for not making them Warriors (that could've opened up a whole new can of trouble...) and the fact that they are DARK gives them a lot of external support, so that's cool. If you lower the stats from 2000 (to 1700-1800), and dampened their effects a bit, this would make them less OP and a pretty fun archetype! Good luck, can't wait to see more! Shade Flip: You can return this card to the hand then return all monsters on the field to the hand.( you must discard 1 "ShadowKeeper" card to resolve this effect" When this card is summoned add 1 "ShadowKeeper monster from your deck to the hand. during either players turn when an card effect is activated, shuffle this card into the deck, then banish that card and then banish all other copies from play, for 3 turns, on the third turn shuffle them back into the deck, thanks for the advice, i have been busy with school, which is why it took me so long to make changes. i am thinking about an xyz that would shuffle its materials back into the deck to gain (X) effect, but the cards shuffled inot the deck if "Shadowkeepers" would not get there effects. any suggestions.
