Armored Maiden of the Holy Red Flames

Lore: (This card is always treated as a "Nordic" card.)

This card is also always FIRE-Attribute. Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand or Graveyard) when 1 "Winged Kuriboh LV10" you control is tributed by its own effect and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This card cannot attack the turn it is summoned by this effect. If this card is sent from your hand to the Graveyard: You can add 1 "Transcendent Wings" from your deck or Graveyard to your hand. The summoning of this card cannot be negated. Once per turn, if your opponent activates a card effect, you can banish 1 card from your Graveyard; negate the activation and destroy it. If this card would be destroyed by battle, at the end of the Damage Step, you can halve its current ATK instead: negate the attack and shuffle your opponent's monster back into the deck. If this card's ATK would be reduced to below 200 by its own effect, destroy it. You can only control 1 "Armored Maiden of the Holy Red Flames".

I kinda just came up with this on a whim, so sorry for the lack of backstory as to how I came up with this card.

Either way, as always, feedback and suggestions are more than welcome.

EDIT1: Adjusted summoning conditions, effects, and restrictions.

The thing that majorly confuses me is, why is this a Nordic?!

It doesn't support Nordics at all, the rest it's fine, but maybe make it always treated as a Kuriboh card so it fits in better. And also why a badass name such as Armored Maiden of the Holy Red Flames for Kuriboh (which is literally a cute fluffball of fluff) support.

My complaints are indeed mostly flavour

And that's my answer to all of your complaints.

Flavour.

Why is it a Nordic? Because it's based on a Valkyrie, more specifically the Valkyrie Brunhilde. Why does it support Winged Kuriboh? Because both monsters are holy defenders of the realm(sorta for Winged Kuriboh, definitely for this card), and Winged Kuriboh is sacrificing itself to resurrect/call forth a holy warrior.

but why kuriboh lv 10? that thing is not that easy to get out already.. this then requires you to 1) not use it's effect. 2) not have it destroyed until you draw this. and for what pay off? a 50/50 effect negation that could also get rid of 1/4 of your starting deck and 1/8 of your starting life points.

You're right. Be right back, folks. I'm giving this thing some adjustments.

Idk what the card was like before, but it's still bad. I get that this is Casual, but this is bad, even for Casual. You need to get out LV10 (which already requires you to run Winged Kuriboh + Transcended Wing, which makes you -2 nonetheless), and have this card ready in your hand so you could Summon it if your opponent is stupid enough to enter the Battle Phase without getting rid of LV10 in their MP1.

3) lv 9 is surprisingly harder to get out then lv 10..

Opponent activates a Spell/Trap Card or Monster effect (Chain Link 1), you respond with something (Chain Link 2), Summon LV9 (Chain Link 3). LV10 is harder to get out than LV9.

It can also summon from the Grave. Did you not notice that?

Did not notice that it can be Summoned from the Graveyard via its effect. Doesn't make the card any better, though.

What if I gave it an effect that allows LV10 to be immune to card effects besides its own while this card is in the grave?

jfc the fact that it needs LV10 to do anything is what makes the card bad. I can't offer any advice here because any advice that I would give would radically change the card from your vision of what the card should be.

So you'd rather I, for example, require you to banish at least 1 Fire and 1 Light from your grave to get it out?

I can do that.
