Once per turn: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; this card loses 500 ATK and DEF, and you send that target to the Graveyard.

 

 

Seeing as non-destruction removal is the law of the land these days, and this guy provides it, I felt he was worth looking at. Summoner Monk into a LV4 Tuner gets him out easily, as do many Instant Fusion plays. He can also be tutored with Ultimaya Tzolkin. Finally, this and a LV1 Tuner makes Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss, to offset the lost ATK. Of course, he's not the amazing card he once was, but is he worth running anymore? Discuss.

It used to be fun to summon this from light-pulsar dragon effect, swing and take a chunk out of  my opponent

I made a deck where this was my ace and I kept using its effects to remove things off the field and then negate its effects for it to regain its lost ATK. The fun I had was hilarious. My brother did the same thing for Light End.

Honestly this isn't much better than destruction removal nowadays, since most things don't just float off of destruction, but being sent to the Graveyard. And, as always, Nekroz don't care.

There's Scraps. Summon Beast off of Summoner Monk and make this, easy as pie.

Or you could just Vice Dragon and Dark Resonator into it. Try it in a Beelze deck. Granted you'll be going for Beelze A LOT more but he's still fun mess around with.
